Is your city one of these?  I see that my home of many years, Atlanta, is 29th.  Unfortunately, Birmingham and Gadsden are on the list.  A major factor for most is Democratic leadership for dcades. 

Dire:Yep! Miami, Fl. # 47  It also has another distinction according to Forbes magazine: Americas most miserable city!
