The statues look like an accident waiting to happen. It says he stumbled and fell onto the horn. I'd be afraid that kids, or even adults, besides stumbling or falling into the horns, would also be trying to jump onto the statues and would end up impaling themselves. or pushing others onto them when horsing around.
I thought I saw this story on the news several weeks ago. i think he was playing (hide and seek, cature the flag, or something) in the dark. he ran into the bull's horn. It was tragic. I remember seeing the pics of the staute and thinking he must have either been tall or running really fast and jumped up.

I thought the same thing, but look at the other statues, looks like the horns on some are lower to the ground, so maybe the one pictured in the foreground isn't the one he hit.
I was trying to figure out how he did it too when I first saw the picture. Thinking maybe he had been climbing on or on top of one of them and fell maybe? I also think it must have been the one in the background in the photo.
