I use the Zatarain's fish batter that comes in the packets. Just follow the directions on the package and viola! Fried Pickles! Works well with both the chips and the spears. Try using the stackers though, they are larger than the chips. make sure to drain the pickle juice off of the pickles so they won't be soggy. Smiler
