There were Johnny's Club, Circle E or was it C, Club43, Tonys Club, i.e. Hummm, there could be a lot of stories told about this, then it's best some things just stay in the past, oh heck no tell it all.

I used to work those clubs back in my free spirited days. I knew Johnny Hood and I know Michael Robinson. I girl could hustle a good buck back in those days. I had some attorneys and businessmen out of Florence that visited frequently.

Does anyone remember the Kaleidoscope in Savannah?

My uncle, Donnie Davis, was shot and killed by 2 brothers in one of those state line clubs/bars. Not sure which one, and I'm pretty sure whatever building is now gone. Would have been around '79.

I had more fun shooting pool and boogying down at Johnny's, Black Cat and the Dog House...
4 of us girls would always pick one of those for our Friday or Sat nite getaway...never had to buy beer cause the guys always looked for us to liven up the party.... especially the guys that worked at Reynolds Metals that would come to the Black Cat after a union meeting...
Puckerup...I remember the black couple...loved to watch them dance.
We would stay till closing and then head back to Tourway Restaurant for catfish... Geeze....those were the days !!!
If my memory is right it was two Wiley boys, It was at Buck's where the convenience store is now. On the left before you got to the Rustic Park. Anyone remember the Culip Juice at Bee's. The Dog House And Blackcat were both pretty rough. Every weekend a fight would break out at one of them. The guys would always take care of us. Sometimes it was pretty scary. I wonder what happened to Scotty Hayes?

Does anyone remember the weekend bartender at Club 13 around '79-'81? I remember he raced motocross and frequented Miss Annie's. He helped me out once and seemed like a good guy. I don't remember anything else. Too many years, too many beers.
KC
Ok, So I might have picked a dead thread but I'm already vested.
I found out the bartenders name was Danny Lambert. Anyone know if he's still around?
