It looks like O'Keefe has blown it. He gave accesss to the FULL video, and it shows that Ron Schiller was actually quoting a couple of high ranking Republicans when he called the Tea Party racist. The video was creatively edited in other ways to make NPR look bad too.

This casts heavy doubt on all of O'Keefe's OTHER "sting" videos, especially the Planned Parenthood video.

And fo those of you who doubt what I am saying because I am a known liberal, it was Glen Beck's "The Blaze" which broke the story. Here is the link.

18 The message about the cross doesn't make any sense to lost people. But for those of us who are being saved, it is God's power at work.

The guy was planning on quitting anyway so I guess he just didn't want to fight it. I first heard the story this morning on NPR. THEY even seemed surprised that such a conservative outfit as The Blaze would go to bat for the dreaded NPR. But they gave them credit for it, and I do too. Maybe Beck feels that NPR fills and important role in giving him someone to battle. Or maybe he realized that this video came out just as the vote on federal funding was to take place and it made him suspicious. Either way, I hope I can keep my local NPR station.

How do your taxes support religion? How about cutting some taxes instead of raising them. My income is taxed when I earn it and taxed again when I spend it. The person I spend it too pays tax again on it. It looks to me like all my money eventually ends up in the governments hands.

Why should we tax anything more than we already are? We should end entitlements for people too lazy to work; then you can provide your own food and housing.

For starters, everyone pays more property tax because churches don't pay any. Think about how much more the government would collect in income taxes if all of the church contributions were not deducted. Mormons are required to pay 10% of their income or they can't get into the temple. That 10% alone, multiplied by millions of good Mormons, would make a huge dent in the national debt. Think about how much property is owned by the Catholic church that is tax free.
