Los Angeles was among several California municipalities that have voted to boycott Arizona, including San Francisco, Oakland, Berkeley, as well as Boston, Seattle and Austin, Texas. If they are going to boycott Arizona, they need to stop buying electricity too.
The Arizona law is the same as the federal law but with the state enforcing it (unlike the feds). My question is "why aren't all these people "boycotting" federally?" Would all these people be as upset if the federal government were not enforceing the laws that ask for passports when people enter our country? This is purely an acceptance and promotion of selective illegal activity. Why don't we all decide for ourselves which federal laws we want to obey and which ones we want to break? (Hmmm... don't think I want to pay anymore income taxes) Wonder what kind of reaction that would generate.
I think the rest of the country should boycott California. You can start by not going to see their crappy movies as much.
Washington state and Texas wine, anyone?
