Bush takes his Iraq show on the road

Angling for the upper hand, President Bush told Democratic lawmakers on Thursday that their effort to end the war in Iraq is futile and will only undermine the military. Bush changed his venue, trading the White House for a high school gym in Republican-friendly territory north of Dayton, Ohio. To set a looser tone, he took questions from the crowd.

I couldn't get the link so I couldn't read the article but this isn't the first time he's tried to take his case to the American people, and failed.

He's done it before on Iraq as well as Social Security and other cases as well. He and his bunch cronies have to be so out of touch with the American people he actually believes his own PR Hype.

They compare him to Hitler in the last days of his bunker, throwing temper tantrums, boasting of imaginary victories and ordering non existent troops to the front.

Maybe Idiot's surge is his version of the 'Battle of the Bulge'.
