The Democratic-controlled Senate Foreign Relations Committee dismissed President Bush's plans to increase troops strength in Iraq on Wednesday as "not in the national interest," an unusual wartime repudiation of the commander in chief.

I echo your sentiments, Uber. I am all for discussing differing points of view, but when you put up a leftist op/ed name calling article for every argument you have, your credibility goes right out the window.

I have no problem debating, but greed and such is not the way to start one. More like pandering.

I rather agree with the response on Capitol Hill Blue. This is like shooting a spitball a the playground bully.
I agree because the Bully will not stop till he is set on by a pack of fed up victims. And the spit ball will only empower him to react with more bluster and brawn.
But, the posting of Capitol Hill Blue as a source might be a little over the top. Guardian UK also carried the story, and it was on one of the telivision news broadcasts last night, probably PBS...and this morning NBC carried an exerpt from the hearings.

I hope I am not being offensive sir, but you can reduce the size of the Troll Icon without taking away from the expression of your opinion. or, you might try setting them up in a row, say three abreast so that you don't occupy so much space.
now dang it, i am speaking my $.02 on this issue. its gone on long enough.
1. If you do not like what someone posts,DO NOT READ IT, Ypu DO NOT EVEN HAVE TO CLICK ON THE THREAD!
2. Those who oppose ANYONE on here can use the IGNORE option for these forums.

But I have to say, I do not ramble around on the net to find many of the news sources out there. I have had a wee bit of knowledge thrown on me by a few of his posts. To say the least, some have stirred my interest and I have done some digging around for more info on the subject myself.
What I am finding offensive is the CONSTANT COMPLAINING about this persons posts.
brentenman,

I just realized that I am jealous. I don't get the troll treatment from you. Could you, just for the sake of my feelings, call me a troll, once, and explain what it is you mean by the expression. I am young and innocent, or old and out of touch, but it seems to me that the use of the term is intended to be insulting, but that is a cute little guy in the picture. Is he a relative, or could he be you?

If you would post some stuff we all like to read beside the right wing bull crap you post, that would be a big help to us all. you must think your post is the only post worth the read.

brentenman, did you pick this thread to swamp because you really don't want to discuss the Senate Democratic position on the Bush War? Or are you just generally peeved with liberal thought all together?
