I see the signs that say the Thanksgiving issue of the TD will be 1.50. I know it is the largest issue of the year, but if it is the de facto Sunday issue this week, how about charging just .50 for Sunday's paper?

shouldn't the ones paying for the sale advertisement inserts be offsetting the cost of the extra paper? thats like having to pay for commercials on TV, it just don't make sense.
The advertisers have paid for the cost of the paper, it just another way of fleecing America, get what you can, and forget the next person.quote:Originally posted by monster:

I am SURE that the advertisers DID pay for putting whatever ads they had in the paper, and their sales booklets.
This is horribly unfair though. I got a Montgomery Paper one Thanksgiving a couple of years ago, loaded to the gills with sales papers, and at least twice as big as TD and they did NOT charge one cent more for that day's edition.
Talk about GREED, it is in every BIG BUSINESS, even the ones we think we trust.

ever thought how much work it takes to put together and deliver these sales papers to stores and the boxes?

I heard through the grapevine that TD was going to start charging for online access as well. Enjoy it free while you can!
