I am sorry that I offended your political sensativities in referring to Bush as an idiot, but I was just trying to be nice. The trouble with your argument that we should respect the office by respecting the man in it has problems. Fact is, Bush himself dosen't seem to respect the office.

He obtained the office by suspecious means in 2000; some may even say he stole the office.

He lied to get the USA into a war in Iraq, and since to keep us there and feed his ego.

He has proven to have distain for people with horrible diseases, by using his one and only veto to date, to deny hope to many who are sick.

He has attempted to decieve us with words on his horrible stand on the environment, while allowing logging in our national forrest, relaxing pollution laws for air and water. He even tried to sell parts of our National Forrest.

He bought the religeous right by promissing to give millions of tax dollars to these religeous organizations. (and you thought it was all about principal ???)

He has put this country so far in debt that every citizen now owes over $30,000 from the time he is born.

As you see, there are a lot of words I could have used, but, wait---
Websters says an idiot has trougle stringing words together to convey thought, and that he sees things in a simplistic way.

Maybe that word is not so far off-

excel you have a right to your opinion on President Bush Just as much as anyone else. However, that was the worst apology I have ever seen. It seemed more like an attemp to start up a old conversation on Pres B. An apology should be just that an apology. Not an essay on how you feel about the pres after you just "apologized" for what you said. So apology not accepted, but then again I was never offended. If you can't take the opinion and ideas of other people, you live in the wrong country.
rebuttal by points

1. He followed the rules and wonthe election by the electoral college policy that the previous presidents have won with.

2. He trusted the information given to him as the anti Bush people do.

3. He vetoed a bill that would destroy life for certain and possibly have helped a few.

4. The national forests have always had some logging and he cannot simply wave a wand and his will be done others have to votefor it.

5. The religious right supports him because he dares to speak of religion and not just talk in vague generalities about his beliefs. Without the religious right what religion would be left?

6. All budgets are approved by the congress. I bet you have driven on a road or received some sort of pork benefit. Be angry at yourself as well.

There are 2 sides to every issue.
