Muscle Shoals Football has lost all credibility. Kid smarts off to coaches quits team. Mom comes and begs for son to play. He is allowed to come back and play against Russellville. Head Coach and assistants have no backbone! What did this kid learn? Nothing…… No difference than Penn State. We reward thugs, a-holes and kids that have no respect just so you can win a game. What about the kid that is second string and has done everything the coaches asked and to be dropped back to second because the thug has a scholarship to Auburn wants to play now. Grow some Coach…..If he did that in our day he would still be off the team until he proved he was sincere…..two weeks isn’t long enough. I played and love football just as much as anyone…….but I was taught to play with class and play hard. One person doesn’t make a team…..but in Muscle Shoals the team revolves around one person.

Also look how the coach made a public announcement that he was off the team when the coach was thinking that would keep him out of jail. Then the coach keep it quite and denied that the player was going to play against Russellville so Russellville would not know who to prepare to play against. This kid had to have practiced or talk with the coaching staff days ahead of the game. This coach lost his moral direction if he had any to begin with. I think the school prinicpal should suspend the coach for a few days for his dishonesty. Muscle Shoals will win some games but they have lost any respect due to them.
You're aware that this happens a lot with kids, right? Most just aren't as publicized and stay in the school hallways. This kids talent and choice of college made people run with it. Coach said he was suspended indefinitely, and has now returned. He got a second chance. Chill, it's high school football.

This isn't a new thing, no matter how you want to play it. Ever thought that maybe he learned his lesson? That he did what the coaches asked him to to get back in good standing? That a 17-18 year old overreacting and losing his temper shouldn't cost his shot at a very successful future?
I'm assuming your team lost, but looking at the score, Liner wasn't the difference.
Your assumption is wrong…..my team won. You are correct that Liner wasn’t a factor. But…. Cut it anyway that makes you feel better. The truth is Liner is only worried about himself. If he lost control once, odds are he’ll do it again. All teams are guilty of this…..I think it’s time to quit raising a bunch of self-entitled thugs and raise men that have integrity.

Congrats on the victory, but basing a kid's future on "he might do it again" when we are talking about a temper tantrum, is stupid.
He had a solid game, was a factor, but not a difference.
I have a question. When did Muscle Shoals ever have any credibility? You can't lose something you never had!!!!!

"They" say coaches are there to build character, yet I've never heard of a coach being fired for failing to build character. Just go 2 - 8 one season and see what happens!
