No it was this morning. Since their official map still haven't updated yet they are still tweaking things so don't get upset if you haven't seen it yet or the speeds are iffy.

Works here in Barton and my wife says it's working near Zip City.
No 3G in beautiful downtown Sheffield.
I don't have it in Killen either. 
I been waiting so long for this and was about to cancel my AT&T service after almost 10 years. I work in Florence so looking forward to a more functional iphone in town. However, I hunt and live out toward Cloverdale. I sure hope the 3G expands out that way. As for now its not, maybe later today it will be up and running out here. Sure would be nice for passing time in the stand. I'll keep my fingers crossed.

AT&T's representatives have put out that the actual target date for most of the Shoals area to be early December but no date was specified.

Still slated for later in the year although it may spill into next year due to various issues, as stated earlier December was actually supposed to be the target but they decided to at least get it partially up likely so they could announce here and Dothan at the same time.
