Military contracting out is a mixed bag.  Contracting out at stateside installations starts out economically.  Then, bids go up significantly for out years. 

While rather expensive in Iraq, there were long term savings.  Army didn't have to recruit and train messhall workers, MPs, and such, with the indirect costs of building larger facilities to school and house those in training stateside.  After Iraq, the Army saved by not having to demobilize thousands and the government saved by not having to pay GI benefits.

If people like yourself would move to Denmark, the happiness factor in the US was go up remarkably.  Can't say the same would be true of Denmark, in that case.

Denmark has a population just north of 5.5 million, 90% of which is homogenous.  Yes contendie, only in a very illogical mind would it be logical to compare Denmark to a country of over 300 million that is as diverse as a bag of skittles.

I can not imagine a world where I pay 180% tax on a car and be happy, much less getting 50% of my income taxed plus pay 25% sales tax.  Even if you can afford a car, you may not be able to afford the gas.  Those Danes are frickin' lemmings or liars if they claim to be happy.
