I watched a video where a reporter was interviewing students at a college. The first question was “who won the civil war”. The answers ranged from I don’t know, to the South by (two black students), to several countries in Europe. “When was the Civil War over? Answers ranged from 1970, to 1570, to I don’t know. Another question was“ who is the Vice-President at the present time”. Answers ranged again to I can’t think of his name. I don’t remember, to Joe uh, uh, uh, something. “Name some of the players on Jersey S****". No one missed naming several of the players if not all of them. "Who is Brad Pitt married to"? Everyone got Angelina Jolie and two students knew he had been married to Jennifer Aniston prior to that. Finally they could answer anything about the Kardashians they were asked. These kids didn’t appear to be dumb, but you can tell what is more important in their lives. My biggest delima is this is the type people that support candidates that are planning to give free college degrees. The way I see it, if you didn’t learn anything after 12 years of free schooling what is 4 more years going to help?
