Paul Manafort, has been indicted on conspiracy against the US, money laundering, other charges...

These charges stemmed from the so called 'fake dossier'. Imagine that, some aspects of the 'fake dossier' have been CONFIRMED. Those Alternate Facts are coming home to roost.

Actually the Obama administration received that information directly from the country of Ukraine:

Ukrainian government National Anti-Corruption Bureau studying secret documents claimed in August 2016 to have found handwritten records that show $12.7 million in cash payments designated for Manafort, although they had yet to determine if he had received the money.[32] These undisclosed payments were from the pro-Russian political party Party of Regions, of the former president of Ukraine.[32] This payment record spans from 2007 to 2012.[32] Manafort’s lawyer, Richard A. Hibey, said Manafort didn’t receive “any such cash payments” as described by the anti-corruption officials.[32]

None of the charges had anything to do with Steele's dossier, period.

As to the dossier, Steele contacted Russian officials for information that would prove Trump colluded with the Russian government.  Such info would probably come from the FSB, the successor to the KGB.  If, Trump and Putin colluded, why would Putin desire to obstruct Trump's presidency.  Any Russian official who went against Putin would most likely find himself quite dead.  The Russians desire to spread dissension and distrust of the US government system, the same goal as the Soviets.  The whole affair sounds much more like the Disinformation Bureau's work.  That office still survives in the FSB.

Once more, little of any of the information in Steel's dossier has proven truthful, despite left wing blogs to the contrary.

The guilty plea of George Papadopoulos (no, not Webster's dad), where he signs off on a narrative summary admitting that he and other "high ranking" officials of the Trump campaign colluded with Russian government officials (or at least people they thought were) trying to get their hands on Hillary Clinton's emails. Those "high ranking officials" were not named, but I'm sure those indictments will follow.

This involvement came STRAIGHT FROM THE "FAKE DOSSIER". No matter how many times the Republicans claim 'the dossier is fake', charges keep coming from the information contained therein.

Wrong:

Former Trump campaign officials dismissed Mr. Papadopoulos as someone freelancing without campaign authorization.

“I was surprised to learn today what George Papadopoulos was up to during the campaign,” said J.D. Gordon, a Trump campaign national security adviser who worked under then-Sen. Jeff Sessions, who is now the attorney general

“He obviously went to great lengths to go around me and [Sen.] Sessions,” Mr. Gordon told The Washington Times. “Presidential campaigns are like that. I have been senior staff, senior advisers on three. Very hard to know what every single person is doing, especially since some folks deliberately go around the chain of command or circumvent it. George Papadopoulos obviously represents an extreme case.”

The Mueller filing said that Mr. Papadopoulos was arrested last July on his arrival at Dulles International Airport. Since then, the former adviser “met with the government on numerous occasions to provide information and answer questions,” the document says.

The document does not disclose the information provided by Mr. Papadopoulos to Mr. Mueller’s prosecutors.

Mr. Papadopoulos is not mentioned in the Steele dossier on Mr. Trump, though it does accuse Trump people of working hand-in-hand with Russian intelligence to hack into Democratic Party computers.

The people named by Mr. Steele deny the charges and call the dossier fiction. A source close to the congressional inquiry told The Times that none of Mr. Steele’s Russia-Trump charges has been verified.

Just keep listening to the voices in your head. I might note that even if Trump or one of his higher staff had gone to a meeting, quite a few lawyers have opined that meeting foreign leaders or their underlings to hear opposition research is not a crime unless goobermint secrets were given away or some other treasonous thing occurred. The only thing Papadopoulos ran afoul of in his dealings is that he lied to an FBI agent. As usual the cover up is worse than the act that got the FBI's interest.

I guess, when the next charges come down, you'll have to eat that hat. The 'fake dossier' contains the information. No amount of alternate facts will change that. No matter how many times you scream 'the big lie', some people are going to see through it.

When the next perp walk happens, it could be Tony Podesta and no, the information wouldn't come from the still unverified "dossier".

Tony Podesta, key Democratic lobbyist, resigns from firm amid Mueller inquiry

https://www.theguardian.com/us...trump-russia-mueller

With regards to the indictments that have come from Mueller's investigation one glaring thing stands out.  NO indictment that has anything to do with collusion with the Russians and especially nothing involving Donald Trump himself or directly to his Presidential campaign.  You can bet if there had of been then  Mueller would have led with that and not some Money laundering and other offenses that happened way before the Trump campaign but that was found while chasing white rabbits in the Trump/Russia collusion investigation.

Why?  Simply is that the dossier is completely false and fraudulently produced information for the Democrats to use against Trump to attempt to win an election in a most deceptive way then after they lost the election they attempted to use it to remove a legitimately elected President.  People should go to jail for this but as of yet there has been no investigation into anything that the Democrats have done in an attempt to unseat Trump with totally made up, and fraudulent information.
