Even with the most recent accusation against Roy Moore of unwanted and potentially criminal unwanted sexual harassment or conduct is the way that these accusations are being leveled and reported.

In the first accusations they come from women through the Washington Post and then the latest accusation, and most damaging, comes through attorney Gloria Allred.  WHY are these women not choosing to go through proper channels and file/lodge a criminal complaint through the police, against Roy Moore.

The thing that keeps coming back to me is if a person files a knowingly false criminal complaint with the police then they are in jeopardy of  prosecution and going to jail and there are penalties that they can suffer.  When allegations are made through, and to, the media alone or via a lawyer, in the case of a potential legal action, then there is no chance that the accuser would be in for any penalty for making a knowingly false accusation.  That's the only thing, with regards to the accusations, against Roy Moore, other than the timing of them, that gives me pause in believing them out right.

I know there are plenty, out there, that have already convicted Roy Moore regardless but they should also realize that there has been far too many people convicted in the media only to find out that the truth wasn't reported and the truth was not what was reported first off.   Richard Jewell was arrested and convicted in the media as the Atlanta bomber yet he was totally innocent as later evidence proved.  The Duke Lacrosse players who were reported as guilty and their reputations ruined only to be proven innocent.   Freddy Grey reported as killed by Maryland Police only to be revealed that he died by his own actions in the back of that police van.   Michael Brown and the Don't Shoot Hand's up story that he died while trying to surrender to police saying don't shoot and approaching the officer with his hands up.  Remember this was from the eye witness testimony that that story still is told incorrectly today and NFL Players are still taking a knee with the belief that Michael Brown died innocently with his hands up.  Or what about the shooting of Travon Martin, the boy who Obama said could have looked like his son if he had a son and how Zimmerman was convicted as a racist murderer in the press and media before the real story was revealed by the evidence and facts.  Or the Henry Lewis Gates arrest where Obama, and the media and most everyone else, jumped to wrong and incorrect conclusions that led to Obama's beer summit with the falsely accused officer and Gates to cover up that fiasco that Obama created on his own.  Then there was the reported Benghazi YouTube Video that caused the attack on the Benghazi compound that was reported to the American people by the Obama administration as the reason for the attack all while the truth was known to be a terrorist attack but the terrorist attack wouldn't play well in an re-election run so Obama and his Administration AND THE MEIDA sold the false narrative of the YouTube video causing the attack up and until the emails of Hillary Clinton revealed the truth that they knew all along it wasn't any YouTube video.

So often first assurances and testimony are proven later to be false or faked even currently with the Trump Dossier which has been proven to be totally fabricated, paid for fake information in order to attempt to overturn a legitimate election of President Trump and a fake dossier used as a basis for investigation of Trump and actually potentially the basis for the FBI raids on Trump associates which are now being charged with crimes that might have to be overturned account that the basis on which they were initially investigated was known to be false and made up.  So what happened to Innocent until proven guilty?   I do agree there is reason to doubt Moore's denials and it's come to the point that potentially only polygraphs of Moore and the accusers are the only way to dispel doubt or instill credibility but we should remember that not always are accusers totally accurate in their accounts of what happened and often people are misjudged and convicted wrongly in the court of opinion and the media.  IF he is guilty he should step down, he should be removed if elected, and prosecuted if possible but IF and only IF he is guilty.

I assume you're going to vote for Roy Moore no matter what.  That's your prerogative.  In that entire wall of text, I didn't notice a single positive thing about Roy Moore.  Why is that?   Roy Moore's character is in question.  If he's worth defending, then defend his character.

Hannibal Lecter is a cardboard character in a work of fiction. Democrats are actual living, sentient beings. No two are alike any more than any two Republicans are. You are aware that Roy Moore started out as a Democrat? At what point did he change? Was it about the time a Republican governor was looking for a judicial replacement? Epiphany or opportunism?

Even Rush Limbaugh (let's have a "bless his heart") has stated Moore was a Democrat at the time he was accused of attempted rape. This is supposed to make us feel better about this candidate?

Kraven was correct, your assumption wasn't!  I'm not trying to defend Moore and I haven't decided, as of now, who I'm voting for.  I've just seen so many absolutely sure news stories that have had to be retracted because they were based on false information.  Everyone deserves the right to be considered innocent until proven guilty.   I just believe all sides need to be heard and considered but so many have already made up their minds and convicted him in their mind before.  Why is that?

https://www.msn.com/en-us/news...Yo3R?ocid=spartanntp

Media Matters and other highly liberal outfits with a defined agenda to remove commentators such as Sean Hannity and eliminate programs such as Rush Limbaugh do so with total regard for civility or accuracy.  They use deception and outright lie regarding what is said on these shows in attempts to get advertisers to leave the programs.  There seems to be no accountability for these groups and many are Soros based and have their own sources of funding that cares not if they are accurate or not.  Many of these organizations names are anything but what they are and even used deception in their names in order to garner face value support from anyone who might just happen to see their name listed rather than digging deeper into what they represent and what they do.

They are despicable and ruthless in their tactics and always unapologetic and consider their tactics worth it if they can somehow accomplish their goals no matter what kind of muck they have to crawl through.  I watched Sean Hannity with his coverage of Roy Moore and he was totally fair but was in no way supportive of Moore's case or his personal statements around the case.  This seems to be the way things are done anymore.  Someone doesn't listen or only samples third party information that is usually and totally inaccurate then bases their whole response on the lie and runs with it as if it was truth.

I might also mention that I caught MSNBC's coverage of Roy Moore and the media girl that was running the program stated in one breath that she has never been to Alabama and in the next breath continued to stereotype most every male Alabama resident as some rube redneck child molesting pedophile.  It was totally and absolutely degrading and totally inaccurate and biased with regards to what these people were reporting about citizens of Alabama.

The whole network of MSNBC should have been made to make some kind of retraction and apology to the Citizens of Alabama for they lumped most everyone under the same tent and category.  It was tasteless, senseless and totally predictable from such a liberal outlet the way they or their representatives see  and treat a rather conservatively oriented Southern State.

You answered your own question in your next post. You nailed it, but remember this, liberals know this about the so called news outlets lying and underhanded tactics and they have no problem with it.

Seems like I remember Republicans wishing to skip 'due process' when they were screaming 'lock her up'. Now, Roy Moore is a Republican and should be given time to prove his innocence. Alabama Republicans = Hypocrites.

Actually, I believe, that the "Lock her Up" yells came from political rallies from voters and citizens and not from Washington Politicians.  As far as skipping due process the Obama administration should have obtained a patient on that.  Remember Hillary was allowed to skate on everything without there ever being any kind of official indictment and investigation, at least up to now, and ceremonially acquitted in the Comey news conference that came shortly after Bill Clinton met with Loretta Lynch (the AG prosecuting Bill's wife Hillary) on the tarmac in the plane.  Then it was Hillary that was interviewed by the FBI without a transcript being made or provided and without her being even put under oath.

Come on now you know if that had been a Republican administration that did that for it's people you and every Democrat and news media outlet would have had a cow and been screaming murder and seeking retribution and impeachment or firing of everyone involved.

Hillary and the Clinton foundation has yet to really see scrutiny and investigation by a truly judicial or justice department investigation group or special counsel but that time may very well be coming.

Hypocrisy at its finest. All for 'locking up Hillary', even after the facts said different. And since you don't agree with the findings, lets have another investigation. All while screaming for proof about the Roy Moore accusations. Yep, Republican hypocrisy runs rampant in Alabama.

How does this Republican spin it? Your count is wrong; there are now TEN women who have come forward. Not all of us with an R for our political preference are blind to the faults of some in the party. Moore is reprehensible, and I can't understand those who choose to downplay the enormity of his actions.

You know, like the Republicans do. Say one thing, do the other. For example, stand behind Roy Moore and condemn Clinton. Or say 'Roy Moore needs time to explain himself' and go after Al Frankin. You know, like Republicans.
