It is amazing to me how the black panthers get such a pass on their ****.

Black Panthers? Groovy! Sorry to break it to ya, GA, but, like, the Black Panthers dissolved back when Daddy Ron was prexy. They became real square cats by 1982 and decided to call it a day.

But hey, GA, you're only 36 years behind the times. Hm, maybe I should insert that sloth GIF right about here?

Harvard Law Professor and longtime Democrat Alan Dershowitz said he would not have campaigned for then-Sen. Barack Obama (D-Ill.) if he knew about the future president's photo op with Louis Farrakhan.

Farrakhan, leader of the Nation of Islam, is a "virulent anti-Semite and anti-American," Dershowitz said on "Fox & Friends".

"He has called Judaism a gutter religion. He is a horrible, horrible human being," he said.

All decent Americans have an obligation to condemn the violent bigotry of the **** and KKK demonstrators in Charlottesville, Va., or wherever else they spew their poisonous and threatening rhetoric. But President Trump has a special obligation to single out for condemnation, and distance himself from, individuals and groups that claim (even if falsely) to speak in his name, as the racist provocateurs in Charlottesville did.

David Duke, the notorious bigot, told reporters that white nationalists were working to "fulfill the promises of Donald Trump." Richard Spencer, the founder of the Daily Stormer (a not-so-coded homage to the **** publication Der Sturmer), attributed the growth of the ultra-nationalist alt-right to the Trump presidency: "Obviously the alt-right has come very far in the past two years in terms of public exposure … is Donald Trump one of the major causes of that? Of course."

----------------------

So President Trump must stop being even-handed in his condemnations. He should focus his condemnation on extreme right-wing bigots who speak and act in his name and leave it to those of us on the left to focus our condemnation on left-wing extremists and bigots.

By that measure, the Demmies must condemn the fascist antifrzasa followers, the racist Black Panthers and La Raza, and Calypso Louis's anti-Semites.

Those are the words of a "Demmie."  Dershowitz...

Those are the words of a "Demmie."  Dershowitz...

If, its Dershowitz you wish to quote:

“There’s a photo that has emerged from 2005, recently, from the Congressional Black Caucus, it was buried by them … a picture of then I believe it was candidate or Senator Obama with Louis Farrakhan — in a photo that was taken then, but the photographer on Tucker said, he was on Tucker Carlson…”

The photographer had explained during another Fox News segment with Tucker Carlson that the Congressional Black Caucus had asked to have the photo back, apparently believing the association with someone as controversial as Farrakhan could hurt a rising star in the party like Obama.

And Dershowitz was quick to confirm those suspicions:

“Louis Farrakhan is a virulent anti-Semite, he’s called Judaism a ‘gutter religion,’ he’s anti-American … He is a horrible, horrible human being.

And if I had known that the president had posed, smilingly, with him when was a senator, I would not have campaigned for Barack Obama — it would have influenced my decision.

Look, I threatened to leave the party if Keith Ellison were elected as chairman because of his association with Farrakhan. You don’t associate with a bigot, you don’t associate with an anti-Semite. There should be zero tolerance for that kind of bigotry — and if Barack Obama associated with him, if the Black Caucus invited him, I don’t blame them for trying to suppress the truth because that’s a really horrible truth.” –

“The politicization of the Holocaust dishonors the memory of the six million. Sean Spicer made a serious mistake when he compared Bashar Assad to Hitler, and to make matters worse, he got his facts wrong. He quickly and fully apologized. There was no hint of anti-Semitism in his historical mistake and his apology should have ended the matter. But his political enemies decided to exploit his mistake by pandering to Jews. In doing so, it is they who are exploiting the memory of the six million during the Passover Holiday.

Foremost among the exploiters is the Democratic National Committee:

The Democratic National Committee issued a rebuke with the headline “We will not stand for anti-Semitism.” Its content included the following: “Denying the atrocities committed by Adolf Hitler and the **** regime is a tried and true tactic used by Neo-****s and white supremacists groups that have become emboldened since Donald Trump first announced his campaign for president.”

By placing Hitler and Trump in the same sentence, the DNC committed a mistake similar to that for which they justly criticized Spicer.

Moreover, the DNC itself, is co-chaired by a man who for many years did “stand for anti-Semitism” — namely Keith Ellison, who stood by the notorious anti-Semite Louis Farrakhan, while denying that he was aware of Farrakhan’s very public Jew-hatred. It is the epitome of Chutzpah for the DNC to falsely accuse Spicer of standing by anti-Semitism while it is they who are co-chaired by a man who committed that sin.”

On my mother’s side, I have Jewish ancestry.  Not a lot, perhaps, one-eighth.  About that much Cherokee on my dad’s side.

Years ago, I defended Israel’s position.  A Demmie pointed out my Jewish ancestry and used a rather nasty reference to that.  I pointed out that the German racial laws of the 1930s designated one as Jewish if they had three grandparents who were Jewish.  I congratulated the Demmie as being more anti-Semitic than the NSDAP.  BTW, I use the term Demmie because it so resembles the Muslim term dhimmi for non-believers who pay the jizya tax and bend the knee to the Muslims.
