One thing I have been wondering lately is why Taco Bell only seems to carry a small size of their side menu items whereas just about every other restaurant chain carries small and large sizes. I feel like there would be a lot of people that would order a large size of cinnamon twists or nacho fries. Does anyone have any thoughts on why Taco Bell doesn't offer large sizes on most of their sides? Taco Bell has medium and large drinks, so it seems weird why they don't have large sizes of most of their sides as well?

I haven't really given it that much thought even though I do eat at Taco Bell at times.  I guess as I get older I don't eat as much so don't really order the larger sides but you are right about the absence of multiple sizes.  One thing about Taco Bell that I do like is that when they tend to do away with a menu item they leave it on the menu and you can still order it.  For instance the MexiMelt or Encherito (if I spelled that right).

Another thing I've noticed recently is that the new location, in front of the Hampton Inn Suites seems to be better, fresher, tasting than the other locations but then it could just be all in my head because it is the same food.  I do hate, though, that the sweet tea isn't as good as the other locations.  Thinking about it I do think they could easily offer multiple sizes of their sides and given that, like most fast food restaurants now, they utilize monitor screens it wouldn't pose much of a problem as far as the menus go.  If I get a chance I'll try and put that comment in next time I fill out a comment to Taco Bell.  Never know could help if enough people made those type comments.

A few days ago 1 of my friends told me they hadn't seen a lot of cars at the new Taco Bell in front of the Hampton Inn & Suites, I hope this was just because they drive by at an off time of day but I don't know. I like the fact the new Taco Bell is right next to Downtown Florence, and close to UNA and the future new hospital. It is going to be / is very convenient for a lot of people. I hope it can make it! Isn't the new Taco Bell owned by the same people that own the other 2 locations in Florence? If so hopefully all of them combined can have enough profits to make it! Another thing I will say about the new Taco Bell is I like the wave design on the side of their new building. I wonder if they chose that due to the new location overlooking the Tennessee River?

I haven't heard that but I wouldn't dismiss it either especially given the increased business that WalMart and Zaxby's is experiencing.   If they do build a new one I can' only think it will replace the one at 7-Points as I can't see having two locations that close along with the new one downtown.  While one might say that the location at 7-Points was just improved not long ago and is in good shape there is definitely interest in the business area around the new Cloverdale WalMart for lots of businesses.

Based on what my friend said the new Taco Bell is going to be built at the corner of Cloverdale Road / Heathrow Drive / and Winborne Drive on the Winborne drive side of Cloverdale Road. If this turns out true I don't think this Taco Bell would replace the 7-Points location, I think it would simply be a 5th location for Taco Bell in The Shoals. I don't how if The Shoals can support 5 Taco Bell's but there are already more of Mcdonald's and Subway than that so perhaps it can. It might help Taco Bell that they are open later than most places (aside from Krystal and Waffle House). I think the 7-Points location gets enough business from UNA students that it would not move that far away.
