There is an old saying that you should not get in a discussion about Politics or Religion given the strong determined feelings that people have about each but I want to add one other category to those two and that is Sports.  So there are many on here that are seasoned forum veterans and of those who are so familiar with the forum and have experienced the discussions and/or arguments, which of the forums would you consider to be the most volatile?

When Bill Gray was here and so active I would be tempted to say the Religion category/forum would get the most volatile vote but given that Bill has been banned and others no longer seem to be active I'd have to vote for the Political forum as being the most volatile and challenging.   I wonder what some of the others think?   Maybe this is a question that shouldn't even ask.  But given I did let's see where it goes.

Maybe sports will lose out because there are so many different teams and fan bases that there isn't the opportunity for people to be at odds that often given that rival teams may play only once a year and then it's over for another year.  With Politics, there are two major parties with other minor parties (if you want to call Independent a party).  Most people are either Democrat or Republican followed by Independents and then maybe libertarians.  And with Religion, there are different religions such as Christianity and Islam being the two of the World's largest and then within Christianity, there are several denominations and sections.  With Islam, there are two sections.   Hopefully we won't argue about answering this question.
