the police are asking for the publics help in locating labs on or around their property, how is one to know what they are looking for, the way i understand it a 2 liter plastic cola bottle, maybe some rat poison and camp stove fluid makes up a lab! What should make us suspicious enough to alert the authorities?

While it is hard to indentify those who are making meth on a small scale (soda bottles), there are indicators for larger labs. The links below should help.

When we lived in Mississippi we belonged to the neighborhood watch and every month a law inforcement liason officer came and told us what to look for. He also kept us updated on what the police had found that month and where.
