A NEW AGENDA ON THE FORUM...

Just for your pleasure though, I will dignify you with an answer. I am not trying to get anyone on my site to ban them. Clarification, it is not my site, I help with it, I just refer to it as that because it's either that or name it. I have only given the link to one person here, so far, so your theory is flawed.

I have talked to another about it, but I didn't start that conversation, just helped her become a member. Now, onto the other point, although, yes, I am an admin, I cannot by the rules of the site just go ban happy. The owners wouldn't like that one bit, and despite what you or anyone else may think, I am more objective than that. The only way you would get banned from the site I help with is, well basically what you do here. Trying to stir up stuff.

The site I am referring to is "so good" and I am there, more than I am here. I keep this window open and my other site in another. When I take breaks from admining, I do read and sometimes reply here. There is nothing wrong with that at all.

To also clarify, my replies on another post that I think you are referring to, were made simply in discussion tactics, but if it helps the moderators here find a way to better this forum, I'm all for it.

I could report this post, but I'm a bigger person than that. I'm sure that is also the reason this has been posted since 3 pm and you have only gotten one comment, one that seems to not agree with you, either.

I do not have an agenda here, besides treating others with the same respect they "usually" give me, and just to be myself. As I said in another post, Times Daily would have to pay me to want to take any "power" situation here, nor have I volunteered my services. On my favored site, they do not pay me for the hours that I put in over there, but the result of my and other admins work is simply a nice place to visit, and discuss without harrassment and vulgarity.

Also, if you can point to one of my replies that says,"Hey come to my site the link is...." then, I'd bow down and kiss your feet. I haven't and will not share the link to the place I admin for, because mainly, I don't think a good portion of the people here would like it. It is censored, and pretty much g-rated.

Anyways, there you have it, if you don't like me, that's perfectly fine. I do not lose sleep over it, so please don't continue wasting your time by posting about me. You have a nice night, Mott.

Mott, Glad you brought this up. Somebody is making false reports on me. Today, I got a letter from the TimesDaily administrator, saying I was not to be posting illegal material, sexual material. My material has always been news related and pertaining to history and education, except for a few humorous things that I posted for laughs. When somebody goes to the extent to make false acquisations and tries to get you banned, that tells me there's a problem. I know what group it's from and I could just about tell you who the buck is. These people know who I'm talking about. It's the very same people that are constantly complaining about my posts every day. There's other people in here that knows whats going on if they would just speak up. I wrote a reply back to the TimesDaily administrator, making it known and calling it to her attention to this particular gang that's causing trouble. I've asked TimesDaily to monitor my posts and point out any posts that she or he feels is illegal material. If you want to post a news story, you don't post all of the story. You just post enough to give them enough insite to decide if they want to read it or not and then add a link so they can go to the story. I don't know whats going on but I wish their little games would stop. They can't debate but they know how to call names. They know how to be ugly. They don't know how to talk to you. If you don't think like them, they don't like you. I hope the administrator will be able to get to the bottom of it all. He or she has my support.

pba...I can spot a FALSE person a mile away...there are plenty here. There is a 'gang' operating here, all sending complaints to the adminestrator at once so it looks to them like there is problem with a poster, when in fact the problem is the 'gang'.

I agree with your post and proudly share the same independent status as to affiliations with anyone else that frequents here.

I have problems with both extremes on this forum. No one "owns" the forum but the TD. I do think they do a ratty job administering it but it is just a forum and they provide it for free. I'm sure they have more important things to do than read our posts.

First off, I am glad you went there and found nothing to your liking... secondly, you would be welcomed, and everyone would be nice and kind to you... thirdly, if you displayed the HATE on that site like you do here, you wouldn't last long... Well... if HE wrote them a letter about the forums, and gave his return address, then yes, it IS likely that they got back with him.

I have always had good luck with the people who work at TD when I had problems... (not forum problems, newspaper problems)

This is kind if drama-filled. Maybe not exactly like desperate house-wives, more like House, in the back and forth. (facetiousness/smart donkey kind of way, at least)

I assume this is Mott's way to adrenaline, to feel something, and quite possibly the only way he gets attention that he craves. He must have never learned how to treat people with respect. At least that's what I gather from the harrassment that he has given to me on here. This is the fourth or fifth time (possibly more-I've not been keeping score) that this Man has decided to lump me into this category and jump all over me for nothing that I've personally done to him. *shrugs*

The only thing I've ever done was defend my mother against his slander, and let's be honest here, if any of ya'll's parents were talked to or treated like a dog unfairly, you'd say something too. I don't think I'm wrong by doing so.

Mom, thank you for defending me, I love you, and I really don't care what this man says to me. The fact that he is a 50+ year old man picking on a 24 year old lady, speaks volumes for a lot of people.

I could report him, but I don't think it would help matters any. He obviously doesn't think that genuinely nice people exist, and the ones that do, are targets for him. I'm not that easy of a target.

So let him continue on, he's just making himself look really bad. I've said that several times, and it is true.

And to everyone else, I am sorry that this might have disrupted the forum, I can't stand arguing with people. I'd rather get along, and have tried to be respectful as possible here. It saddens me that there are people like this in the world, that instead of getting to know you, would rather cut you down than to look at you as an equal person. I for one can tell you how Easy it is to modify anything screen shot. I could very easily take the message that you just posted, and put it in my paint program and change the time and date, where it looks like an exact replica of your reply just with a different date. The fact is, My mother and I did discuss taking you off of ignore. We talked about the ignore button a few times, so don't get all offended, because it wasn't solely about you. I told her that I thought it was weak to use the ignore button and that she should be able to see the trash that is said about her. She then later sometime (not sure precisely when) took you off. And here you are now, what a week later or more carrying on a bunch of nonsense. *shakes head*

Also, I remember the posted screenies on the ignore post as well. They didn't have time stamps on them, so they could have been captured right before you posted them. I personally cannot prove that, but I do know that it'd be hard for you to prove that is not what happened either.

Also, PLEASE everyone that really cares about this, raise your hand? I bet there's not very many of you that even thinks this should be here. I sure as heck don't think this is the kind of posts that Times daily wants posted here. I'm sure they expect us all to act like adults.
