Hi Admin,
Your new format shows how many responses have been posted on a given discussion; but, it leaves off a very vital piece of information -- how many have READ the posts. When we take the time to generate post to start a new discussion, or to respond to an existing post -- it is useful to know how many people are reading the posts.
We know that the TD Forums have over 12,300 registered members. But, I would guess that many or more come on the forums just to read and never to post. It is useful information to know how many people read what we write, not just how many have responded.
Why is this important to me? I post primarily on the Religion Forum and, there, try to share the Word of God to the best of my abilities. Since a large portion of the responses posted are from those who are atheist and other non-believers -- it has always been useful to know how many "silent" readers also read our posts.
While I use the comments and questions from atheists and other non-believers as launching pads for sharing the Word of God -- if we never see any results except those of the atheist/non-believer telling us what nuts we are to believe in God -- this can become a very heavy burden.
So, please, if it is not too great a task -- will you start showing the number of reads along with the number of posts?
Thank you and God bless, have a wonderful, blessed day,
Bill
