Just curious.  If the article told us that a woman had an affair with her local grocer or pharmacists, and had to be tested for AIDS -- would YOU have posted that article on the Religion Forum?

OR, did you only post it here ONLY because the person who is supposed to be a Christian had an affair, possibly has AIDS, and committed this offense?

Not saying YOU are biased.  But, would you have even noticed the article otherwise?

My Friend, what you offer as "your proof" that ALL CHRISTIANS are bad -- is really confirmation of what I have often stated:

1.  Every single Christian is a sinner.    But, if we have a true relationship with Jesus Christ -- we are "forgiven sinners."

AND,

2.  Not everyone who wears a Christian hat (clergy or layman) is a true Christian who has a relationship with Jesus Christ.

So, while doing your best to trash the Christian faith -- you have only helped me validate the true nature of a Christian -- a born-again sinner who has been forgiven and washed clean by the precious blood of Jesus Christ.

Is this man a Christian?   I cannot say.  But, he is not showing ANY fruit of salvation.  

A person, clergy or layman, who commits adultery, contracts AIDS, then continues to have adulterous relations DOES NOT display any signs of being a Christian -- just as an Episcopalian Bishop in New Hampshire who is living with his gay partner shows no signs of being a Christian.  

A true Christian will be a "fruit producer" -- and neither that pastor nor the Episcopalian bishop are doing that.

Not only is the scum bag an adulterous preacher, he should be charged with multiple counts of attempted murder.

No where does Chick try to indict all Christians.  More misrepresentation by one who is a scum bag lowlife.

I never denied that the incident happened.  That never even crossed my mind.

However, what does come to mind -- is how Chick is like the Christian K-9, always trying to sniff out anything she feels is negative about the Christian church and the Christian faith.   Why is that SO IMPORTANT to her?   Why does she have such a NEED to attack the Christian faith?

Christians do not claim to be perfect.  Matter of fact, if one did -- RUN from that person.  Jesus Christ is the only perfect human and the only perfect example of a Christian.  We just work toward -- day by day, to the best of our humanly deficient ability -- trying to emulate Him.

So, my question was not if the incident happened -- but WHY Chick has such a need for chewing on such incidents.  It almost seems like a sickness in her.

I can just imagine what ole Billy is saying about me but I really don't care. His MO is to trash & lie about all of us for some reason or another. I think it makes him feel good about himself to put others down. You're right in that I have never included all Christians in my fault finding of those who, like Bill, wear the Christian hat.    

With Bill's stand on OSAS, he's probably saying that Pastor is still a Christian, just one that failed, but still saved. It's my belief that Ole Billy & that Pastor both will have front row seats in Hell. (IF it exist)

Vic, that post you quoted of Bill's is exactly why I have the monster blocked. That goes to show the ole man doesn't read the parts of the Bible that speaks of the negative side of Christianity & what living one thing & speaking another does. Satan wants Bill  to speak of nothing but OSAS. He wants Billy to convince others of the "get saved & have it made" Christianity. Be more ending up in Hell that way. And Bill is very, very good at it.
