Within the Christian faith, there is a significant amount of confusion regarding what happens after death. Some say that after death everyone is just dead until the resurrection. Others believe that at the moment of death that their soul/spirit are sent to a "temporary" heaven or hell, to await the final resurrection. Then there are others such as atheist that don't believe that when we die, we go no where at all.

Yep, the dead aren't talking. But suppose, hypothetically
that humans did have a soul, or a spirit being as part of the
person they are combined with a flesh and blood body.
Is there any Biblical evidence of such a thing..??
If I believed in angels I would assume they would consist of
a soul/spirit less the carbon unit body we've come to know
and love, at times. Is the Bible answering every question you
might have concerning life, death or the total lack of it all...??

Just so I understand your question, you're asking if the Bible has evidence of your hypothetical example.

I don't see how.

Actually the Scriptures do have references to the inner soul/spirit of the human.  Not associate with scriptures though and while I'm not sure what I think of it I did run across this YouTube video that was interesting.  I actually saw it on some news site but was able to google it and find it again

Soul/Spirit departs body at death?  or  https://youtu.be/ChymyVhGb_g

as interesting as the video is I don't believe the inner soul/spirit is something of a physical nature whereby it is visible to the human eye.  I cannot explain what is on the YouTube video or others who claim they have seen ghost or spirits or aberrations but I do believe there is more to mankind than just our fleshly body.

From the Scriptures, even from the statement about the creation of man   Genesis 2:7 (AMP)
7  Then the Lord God formed man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath or spirit of life, and man became a living being.

Genesis 35:18 (ESV)
18  And as her soul was departing (for she was dying), she called his name Ben-oni; but his father called him Benjamin.

Even more so Paul taught of the separation of the flesh from the spirit indicating that mankind exist as flesh and inner soul/spirit

1 Corinthians 5:5 (ESV)
5  you are to deliver this man to Satan for the destruction of the flesh, so that his spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord.

There are others but I'll leave it at this for now

I don't know but, suspect there is nothing after death.  I intend to find out and when I do, I'll let you know or most likely I won't let you know.
