"The Special Counsel did not find that any U.S. person or Trump campaign official or associate conspired or knowingly coordinated" with Russians who worked on those hacking efforts, according to Barr's letter, "despite multiple offers from Russian-affiliated individuals to assist the Trump campaign."

file:///C:/Users/inter/OneDrive/Pictures/AG%20Barr%20Letter%20to%20Congress.pdf

No further indictments recommended, nor any sealed indictments (nothing to serve against President Trump when he leaves office).

"The Special Counsel therefore did not draw a conclusion - one way or the other - as to whether the examined conduct constituted obstruction," according to Barr's letter. "Instead, for each of the relevant actions investigated, the report sets out evidence on both sides of the question and leaves unresolved what the Special Counsel views as 'difficult issues' of law and fact concerning whether the President's actions and intent could be viewed as obstruction."

Without a crime to obstruct, its hard to prove obstruction at the federal level.

The Democrats will squeal like the proverbial pig.  Then, seek to find something else, anything else against Trump.  They went after Kavenaugh in high school.

TRUTH -- THE NEW HATE SPEECH!

Original Post

Here you have a report from Muller's committee which totally consisted of those that hated Trump and would have loved to have seen him impeached yet after all this time all these opponents of Trump found NOTHING indicating that Trump or those in his campaign colluded with Russia against Hillary Clinton and the Democrats in the 2016 election.

What the Democrats now are focusing on is to attempt to say Trump obstructed Justice and obstructed the investigation.  In other words, Trump attempted to prevent the investigation from proving he was innocent.  This is crazy to the nth degree.  The whole investigation and assertion that there was Collusion was primarily the Democrats and Trump opponents failing to accept the results of the 2016 election.  Surely, in their mind, there was no legal, legitimate way that Donald Trump, a candidate who had the media totally against him and all the odds against him, won the election against the Democrat golden girl who was appointed to take the Presidency.

This has been, and continues to be, one humongous hissy fit thrown by the Democrats including Hillary herself who continues to manufacturer reasons why she lost that have absolutely nothing to do with herself.

With respect to obstruction there was plenty of it but real evidence of obstruction was regarding the investigation into Hillary's emails and in the Obama Justice department forcing rewrites of the investigation to force the use of words that would not require indictments being issued.  Yes Hillary was investigated and cleared but only after certain top Justice department and FBI officials demanded that she not be indicted and that reports be rewritten to remove language that would have precipitated her being indicted and proven guilty of what she did.  Certain officials at the FBI arranged interviews where she had help, lawyers and assistants helping her out while none of them was put under oath and no recording of the investigation was made.  No transcripts and no reports to anyone as well as certain FBI top officials working to arrange to destroy hard drives and cell phones that may have had incriminating information on them and then there was Hillary's bleach bit destruction of emails.

I guarantee you that IF Trump had done 1/10th of what Hillary had done or people around Trump had done what those around Hillary had done then there would have been impeachment articles drawn up and Trump would have gone to jail and nothing less would have satisfied the media and congress.  To say Hillary got a fair and unbiased investigation is deliberate lying and cannot be construed as anything else.  That's okay though, it's over, for what it's worth and it's politics at it's worst.  We (America) have been witness to some of the most egregious unpunished acts, from the last Administration, to witnessing an outright coup attempt to negate a legal and legitimate Presidential election.  Again egregious treasonous acts that will none the less go unpunished and forgotten about.  No apologies from those that have been preaching collusion and definite illegal acts by a President who has done nothing but have success after success and proven to be one of the most successful Presidents given his time in office.

it really doesn't matter,,, media and democrats are already spinning their side.  Sad that one's views is more important than our country.  I was one that voted more against Clinton than for Trump.  However now it seems I will vote more against democrat than for republican.  With some of their crazy ideas, I don't believe one can take a chance they might pass them.  Especially after  a few democrats crossed the aisle on a vote and were threatened.

2nd especially, after we know what Helda said plans were for the
future of America is nothing but a death nail by the Dems.

What the whack jobs in the Dems congress have opened up to
is meaningless and dangerous stupidity. And they're serious about
how ridiculously evil they want it.

Rather amusing seeing Democrats claim there are other charges that might be brought on Trump.  After claims of conspiracy, treason and obstruction blew up, the public is inoculated against anything lesser.  Basically, they've boosted his chances of re-election by the demonstration of mindless rage.

Trump's expressed a desire to tighten slander and libel laws for public persons. This two year fiasco proves his point.  He's been called traitor, a Russian asset and worse.  Not, "I think" or "I suspect,"  but he is.  He'd be worth an extra billion if he could sue the MSM.

Notice how quiet some have been since getting the lawsuit from the Covington kid?  Carrey and Griffin have been laying low.

Really!  Did you read the facts about what happened?  The hyperlink to the left, if you click it, will take you to one of many articles about what really happened.  I can't fault you though as you may have been getting your news directly from highly biased CNN (Counterfeit News Network) or MSNBC and they often manufacturer news if it will appear negative to Trump.

What you said was a half truth and you ran with it.  McConnell did not block the release of the Report but rather blocked a resolution to release the "full report".  Frankly it's not within McConnells power or any other Congressperson's to block the report as the total decision on that resides in the Attorney General's power.  It's possible that Trump could block the release, being Barr's boss, but Trump has said release the report.

I will admit that I haven't read the complete text of the story but I assume that the reason McConnell did what he did was to protect some of the information that comes from testimony, from inside the report, that could jeopardize some National Secrets or Secret information so to keep it from the Media and public.  McConnell blocked a Resolution though not the release of the Report as that may still happen under Barr's authority.  What McConnell also did not do was to approve a resolution to prevent release of the report.  He just stopped a resolution to release it, vastly different, from what you are accusing him of doing. but then maybe it doesn't matter, in your mind or others.

So, if you want to correct yourself, you can restate what McConnell did and comment further on that, or you can just continue to make false assumptions about Republicans in general, wanting to stop the release of the report.  Frankly I don't look for anything to come out of it, even if released, as there were so many Trump hating people on Muller's group, in fact all of them that worked on the investigation (not one Trump friendly person) that if there had been anything at all there then information would have leaked out beforehand, to the media or to Democrats.

So given all the wasted money trying to find something to reverse the results of the 2016 election are you in favor of an investigation into just how all this came about?   How warrants against Americans were obtained based on a dossier that has been proven full of false claims and financed by those against Trump?  I highly doubt that anyone, favorable to the Democrats, will now want to see an investigation into why some fake dossier was used and accepted to support such offenses against the Constitutional rights of American Citizens?

Lastly, note that although there was some convictions based upon some of the warrants and cases tied to the investigation NONE of the Convictions had anything to do with Donald Trump or the Campaign but rather had to do with the peoples acts uncovered during the investigation of Trump and had to do with their personal finances (not Trumps) or taxes or actions before Congress.

A BIG NOTHING burger with regards to anything to do with Trump or the Campaign.  And on the topic of obstruction is it not within a President's power and ability to fire, for any reason, one of his employees, such as Jeff Sessions or FBI Director Comey, both of who serve at the pleasure of the President?  What is more telling is who the President didn't fire and that would be Muller.  The President didn't like Muller and thought he was biased because Muller loaded his staff with Trump hating people so the President thought he was biased but he never fired him nor did he order him fired by any of Trump's employees.  Trump never obstructed justice but keep wishing.

GBRK,

Reportedly, the report is from 250 to 800 pages.  It contains classified information which must be redacted. The classified data contains methods and sources. In particular, how Intelligence services identified the Russian companies and persons who hacked US sites.  Only Russian assets would want to expose that information.  Also, the IDs of any undercover agents, in the US or otherwise.  Next is grand jury information, which is illegal to expose without a court order.  Barr should redact such, identify it as grand jury information and let the Democrats fight it out in the courts.  Last, is declination information.  That is information on persons from second and third had sources, aka rumors, with no hard evidence.  Prosecutors never expose such data as it could damage the character of innocent persons.  In fact, the Special Counsel act requires that after all the salacious information about Clinton was released.  As there are no further indictments, to include sealed indictments, no one else will be prosecuted by Mueller.

Now, the Democrats are brewing up a new conspiracy. AG Barr and Deputy AG Rosenstein are protecting Trump from something.  Guess Mueller is in on the conspiracy as he's made no statement to the contrary concerning Barr's letter. Barr stated the report will be released in a few weeks.  Democrats had their play pretty snatched away from them.  Now, they're bawling.  After screaming treason for two years, they've inoculated the public against any lesser crimes, they could connect Trump with.

Now, the real investigation can begin.  That of how the Democrats faked a conspiracy.  The faux Steele dossier is just one of many items the Democrats faked to delude the public into a Trump/Russia collusion.  The meeting at Trump Tower with lawyer, Natalia Veselnitskaya, was a setup.  Before and after the meeting Natasha met with Fusion GPS personnel.  The same Fusion GPS that sponsored the dossier.  Nellie Orh, a professor of Russian politics, worked at Fusion GPS.  Nellie is the wife of disgraced DoJ Associate Deputy AG, Bruce Orh.  I believe coincidences occur.  I don't believe in serial coincidences.

Adam Schiff, head of the House Intelligence Committee made public claims for months he had seen evidence of Trump's collusion.  Time for the Senate Intelligence Committee to call him in for testimony, under oath. Bring the evidence. If, he can't produce such, send a criminal referral to DoJ for sedition and, possibly, conspiracy to commit sedition.

Doubt that ever will see the light of day though.  Your last post laid out the very reason that I believe McConnell opposed a resolution to release the entire document.  If the whole, un-redacted report is to be released it should only be seen by those with the highest security clearance for the very reasons you laid out.

A VERY deep Swamp to be sure however it goes much further, in my opinion, it is a deep state set on a coup of a legitimately elected President, for some, and for others it is failure to accept the same election and that their preferred candidate lost.  For some there should be jail time because what they did and are doing is nothing more than treasonous acts of sedition.

Saw Martha MacCallum interview Rep. Eric Swalwell, another Collusion truther.  He stated that most of the Steele dossier was verified.  Martha was a bit dumbfounded.  Couldn't believe what he said.  Then, he hit her with "what hasn't been proven?"  Proving a negative is, of course, impossible.

Remember the explosion of criticism and the lambasting of anyone and everyone that had said the least thing regarding Obama's birthplace even though Obama in one of his writings said he was born in Kenya and his brother produced a Kenyan Birth Certificate.  Anyone questioning the legitimacy of the Birth Certificate from Hawaii or requesting an investigation into the Kenyan certificate or why Obama's statement in his writings, was summarily drummed out or cast out into oblivion and condemned to the nth degree.

Guess our truthers and conspiracies are quite selective.

Steve Bannon stated that with the Mueller report in, Trump would go full animal on the swamp critters involved in the attempted palace coup.  I pictured either Godzilla with fricking lasers, or King Kong in an Iron Man suit.

In all seriousness, time to unleash a few political appointee prosecutors on them.  Trump's been conservative on using the power of the presidency. Time to get serious.

If Republicans have nothing to hide, why hide the report. Period. Republicans make every excuse in the world to avoid just showing the proof that Trump is innocent. Show the report and it's all done. Keep hiding something and voters will always wonder what the Republicans are hiding.

The FISA  warrant is one of several pieces of evidence of the attempted palace coup (the insurance policy).  AG Barr should have access to it as its a DoJ document.

I see the Mueller report has about 300 pages. Redacting classified info and grand jury proceedings will take 2 to 3 weeks.  Most such reports usually have an executive summary.  I suggest they release that and the index first.  Bet that Barr's letter and the executive summary agree.  Meanwhile, the MSM is whipping up the mob with accusations that Barr's letter is a coverup.  Idiots, never learn.

Trump says he will release the petition for the FISA warrant.  That may answer a number of questions, including how much weight was given to the importance of the Steele dossier.

If Republicans have nothing to hide, why hide the full Mueller report? Why not just show the report and be done with it all. It's as simple as that. Show the report that says Trump is innocent and it's all over. Hide the report and Republicans have something to hide.

Republicans spent YEARS on investigations. Are you saying they're wrong? The investigators may have come to the wrong conclusions? You don't think Clinton may have been guilty and the Republicans were so ignorant they just couldn't find the facts?

Republicans are sure hiding a whole lot of information. Trump could be innocent. Hillary could be guilty. You'd think the Republicans would release all that information and let us all see.
