Three times I believe...the cost including trials, incarceration, medical, dental and vision care, food, clothing and housing...probably somewhere around one million.
Time for Tommy to man up and pay the bill.

No doubt! Way past time but I do wonder if it will ever be carried through??????????? Maybe this time.
"He who strikes a man so that he dies shall surely be put to death. But if he did not lie in wait, but God delivered him into his hand, then I will appoint for you a place where he may flee. But if a man acts with premeditation against his neighbour, to kill him with guile, you shall take him from My altar, that he may die." [Ex. 21:12-14, NKJV

When you out live your victims by nearly three decades...JUSTICE is the loser. This is a travesty against the people of Alabama, the professionals who prosecuted Tommy and the juries that convicted him. Time for the bad boy to go.

This is not about justice. It is about revenge. At least be honest about it.

"Thou shalt not kill." - God
I am not vengeful, I do not even know this man. I have sympathy for the people this has hurt, on both sides of the situation. The law was already in place before he murdered.

"Thou shalt not kill." Do you support any military action? Do you hunt? Do you eat meat? The verse doesn't specify man or beast. If you and your family were violently attacked, would you defend yourself? Even if it meant taking that person's life to protect that of your family? If an error was made in medication, or there was a break failure that resulted in the loss of life do you classify those equally? , There is a difference in murder and killing. It is not an easy subject, but intent has to be part of the answer.

If you want to short sight scripture, then forgive all the prisoners and let them go, as we are to forgive "seven times a day." AH, but he didn't repent did he....another day's discussion.

Genesis 9:6 God said, “Whoever sheds man’s blood,by man his blood shall be shed, for in the image of God He made Man."

"It is by exacting the highest penalty for the taking of human life that we affirm the highest value of human life." (Edward Koch).
