Law and order, family values. That's Bentleys platform. He resigned after being booked for breaking the law and after his mistress cost him his 50 year marriage, he quit.  What a big joke. Per the right wing posters, this is what a lefty does. Of course, it's none of my business, or so I've been told. That makes 2 of the biggest righties in the state, who is next?

Yes Jt, this is what you lefties do. But you only pop off when it's a Republican. You're a hypocrite, and it isn't any of your business what goes on in Alabama. Go clean your nasty, cheating, traitorous, immoral, terrorist supporting Democratic house. Make yourself useful instead of clucking around like an old busybody in Alabama's business. Hillary had a kid by her lover. Have you ever called for her to step down from anything? How about Bill? Did you call for him to resign?

Tennessee has their Gov. Leonard Ray Blanton

Where are they now: ‘Impeachment, Tennessee style’

Thirty-one years ago this month, former Tennessee Gov. Leonard Ray Blanton was convicted of mail fraud, conspiracy and extortion for selling liquor licenses. He had been exposed as being part of a scheme that controlled or forced kickbacks from Nashville liquor store owners. His next 22 months would be spent in a federal penitentiary.

While most recalling Blanton today remember his alleged involvement in selling pardons, he was never implicated on charges of that nature — although some of his key advisors were convicted in that scheme. He is also remembered for unceremoniously being removed from office three days early in a move then-Lt. Gov. John Wilder famously called, “Impeachment, Tennessee style.”

Touched a sore spot, didn't I

With who and how? You're just a one trick pony, always the same posts, same line of crap, repeated over and over. You don't have what it takes to " touch a sore spot". You're like a five year old with your silly posts.

LOL @ jt for thinking he has what it takes to rile anyone.

Why are you so upset about Bentley JT.? Calm yourself, change
your panties, think of a new way to use the word "deflection"
and welcome the new Governor. I bet you're guilty of more
misdemeanors than Bentley could shake a stick at...

I didn't do the report. Poor Jt, the most corrupt state in the union.

BTW-Siegelman was the 51st Governor of Alabama for one term from 1999 to 2003, and to date is the last member of the Democratic Party, as well as the only Roman Catholic, to hold that office.

That’s right, according to a 2010 Daily Beast analysis compiling data about convictions on charges of public corruption, racketeering, extortion, forgery, counterfeiting, fraud and embezzlement, the Volunteer State is America’s single most corrupt. Similarly, a 2012 Harvard study lists Nashville as one of the nation’s most corrupt capitals.
