Democratic socialist Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez hasn’t learned one basic rule of politics. Never compare anything to ****s, because you always come out looking foolish.
The Democratic Socialist who is running for Congress in the 14th District in New York claimed that global warming was an ‘existential threat’ just like the ****s were an existential threat and that one could defeat them using the same blueprint.
Ocasio-Cortez was appearing at a climate change town hall in Queens, New York where she laid out her “radical” plan to deal with global warming.
“So we talk about existential threats, the last time we had a really major existential threat to this country was around World War II,” Ocasio-Cortez said. “And so we’ve been here before and we have a blueprint of doing this before.”
“None of these things are new ideas,” Ocasio-Cortez continued. “What we had was an existential threat in the context of a war. We had a direct existential threat with another nation, this time it was **** Germany, and axis, who explicitly made the United States as an enemy, as an enemy.”
“And what we did was that we chose to mobilize our entire economy and industrialized our entire economy and we put hundreds of thousands if not millions of people to work in defending our s****s and defending this country,” she stated. “We have to do the same thing in order to get us to 100% renewable energy, and that’s just the truth of it.”
A radical plan was needed she said because we were dealing with a “radical reality.”

“But the fact of the matter is that we are dealing with a radical truth and radical reality and the more that we choose to ignore it, the worst we are doing by our children, our grandchildren, and frankly ourselves,” Ocasio-Cortez concluded.
Ocasio-Cortez has made the environment one of her staple issues during the campaign. Back in August, she tweeted that “Americans are dying because of a government too coward to save the planet” and that Congress needs a “Green New Deal” for everyone to survive.
So how we dealt with the socialist ****s is how we should deal with ‘global warming?’
