I have just recently started using coupons at our local grocery stores. Just wondering if any of the local stores accept coupons that have been printed off the internet?
I tried using one at Foodland and they said they do not accept them.
Does anyone know if Walmart or Piggly Wiggly/Southern Foods does?

Wal-Mart accepts the ones i print from couponbug, but they have to be printed in color.

I have had no trouble at all using my coupons that I print off the internet and I don't print them in color. I normally just shop at Wal-Mart so I can't say about other stores but I am sure they will accept what you give them.

I've also printed and used coupons in black and white @ Wal-Mart in Muscle Shoals, Florence and even Russellville.

I'm always looking for good deals and coupon tips too!

It has been a few months ago but the Wal-Mart in Muscle Shoals refused to take a computer printed coupon from me. The cashier said they didn't take any computer printed coupons. Maybe the policy has changed? They had taken them before. I have not tried it recently.

Thanks everyone. I was in Walmart MS today and asked the cashier about the printed coupons. She said they did accept black and white ones, but they could not be copied.

walmart's official coupon policy

This is off of their website, so you should be able to print it out and keep it with you in case you get another misinformed cashier.

Foodland used to take them, but for some reason stopped taking them.
Southern Family used to, but I haven't used one there in a while so I don't know if they still do.
Hometown Market and Big Star DO NOT take them. (fyi..hometown doubles up to 50 cents)

Target also accepts them, and you can stack a target Q with a manufacturers Q to save even more.

also, when you go to coupons.com (or wherever)to get your coupons, and it prompts you to type in your zip code for more savings......type in a big city zip code(like chicago 60601, or atlanta30303), and sometimes you can get more/better coupons than by using Florence's zip.
