Americans need help. Democrats must stop blocking it.

President Trump is marshalling every resource at America’s disposal to fight against the global Coronavirus pandemic. He’s grateful to our nation’s local leaders, doctors, nurses, law enforcement, and first responders who are waging this battle on the ground.

They need all the help they can get—and so do American workers and businesses. Every American family deserves immediate relief and certainty in this difficult time.

President Trump told Congress to send him a bill that protects our economy, your job, your retirement savings, and your family's future from this global pandemic.

Democrats are blocking it. Their donor wish list comes before helping you.

Senate Republicans are ready to send a relief bill to the President’s desk. Instead of joining them, Democrats voted it down. Their leaders are demanding a litany of partisan line items that have nothing to do with fighting the Coronavirus or saving our economy.

Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Minority Leader Chuck Schumer should have to answer to every American: Why have they prioritized these partisan issues over help for working families of every background?
  • Audits of election results (yes, seriously)
  • Airline carbon emissions
  • Corporate diversity requirements
  • Collective bargaining for Federal workers
  • Expansion of wind/solar credits
And the list goes on and on—for 1,119 pages in Speaker Pelosi’s bill, to be exact.

With these demands, Democrats in Congress aren't trying to rescue our country. They aren't trying to rescue our economy. They're trying to rescue their partisan agenda—and they’re willing to hold America hostage to do it.

As one senior Democrat reportedly put it: This relief bill is “a tremendous opportunity to restructure things to fit our vision.”

Now is no time for partisan politics or to exploit a serious crisis for political gain. Now is the time to finish good-faith negotiations that deliver economic and healthcare support to working Americans.

President Trump and other leaders have asked every American to do their part to help slow the spread of Coronavirus by staying home and social distancing. The American people have selflessly heeded that call. As our citizens step up and do their part, it’s time for career politicians in Washington to do the same. No more delays.

The clock is ticking. The hour for action is here. Our country deserves it.

“Is That What We’ve Come To?” asks Sen. Susan Collins

If we truly had a media rather than propaganda outlets they should be all over this and reporting the actual things that are being held up as bartering points by the Democrats.  I too believe that all people should know why the bill is being held up and why and by who.  They should overwhelm Congress with demands to get politics out of this situation but not only are they politicizing it but it gets worse.  You can be assured that Democrats and the Media will sell this as the Republican’s fault that money isn’t making it to the people and they will, along with the media, sell it as Republican greed and paint themselves as saviors for the people.

These are horrible people and they are only doing what they do best and what is typical of them and you can also bet that those in the media will cover for them and protect them along with selling lies as to who is actually responsible and why.   Many will know but there will be ample cases of willful ignorance from those who are party line voters never caring to investigate what’s really going on. Blind leading the blind and willfully ignorant.  I’m sure there will even be some on here that will be quick to defend their Party politicians and what they are doing and what they are asking for.

Like the crooked little liberals will always say, don't let an emergency,
pandemic, epidemic, disaster, catastrophe, holocaust, tragedy or
cataclysmic event go without politicizing and taking advantage of it
for personal gain...

personally  the plans go to far on both sides.

Airlines don't care about their customers,, don't bail

Cruises are not essential,, don't bail them

families making over 100k   should have enough stored up if they were smart enough to live in their means...

don't support state and fed employees if private sector left to go broke.

Told you it was a bad idea when Romney suggested it. Now look. 35 million for the Kennedy Center? Seriously???

On October 24, 2009, President Barack Obama (finally) declared Swine Flu a national emergency in the United States. On November 12, 2009, the CDC reported an estimated 22 million Americans had been infected with 2009 A H1N1 and 4,000 Americans have died.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) estimates that swine flu infected nearly 61 million people in the United States hospitalized 20,000 and caused 12,469 deaths. Worldwide, up to 575,400 people died from pandemic swine flu

The left did not close schools, businesses and shut down the country. They did not take over hospitals as Omar is suggesting and the right did not fight Obama and health officials at every turn and spread lies to induce panic and cause economic ruin. And it was the younger population that was being most affected. The media downplayed it and late night comedians made fun of it and called it a "flop".

Anymouse

There you go again, citing FACTS. The Left isn't interested in facts, only in creating hysteria, division, panic, and dependency; all in an effort to destroy our President and seize power.

What we are witnessing is the continuation of a 3 and a half year long coup attempt, or a 'Cold' Civil War, if you will. Prove me wrong.

Actually it's every bit of 4 plus years if you count prep time.

When time and material is figured in it'll rock in about 100 million.

You're absolutely correct in your time line.

They don't want to talk about it.
