Mr. Peoples was my favorite teacher back in the day, I hope he's cleared of any wrong doing, he is a good man!
Didn't he teach and coach in another Lauderdale County school in the mid 80's?
I have one thing I can say about this. If they find him guilty the board of education have a lot of work to do yet. Believe me I know so.
You have other information, Hound dog? Anderson is a small school, and community. I hope speculation does not become facts, but I hope all the facts will be discovered.
Anderson is a small town and I have many friends there. They all support the principal.
FROM WHAT I HAVE SEEN DAVID LIKES TO PLAY A HAND OR TWO OF HIGH STAKES POKER...
who cares if he plays poker? I play poker and im in charge of way more money than David People! I really dont think Coach Peoples had anything to do with money missing. I could be wrong but I am gonna go ahead and call him innocent till you can prove me otherwise. He is a great man and has been a great father and husband for years!
I went to Anderson Jr. High School and Mr. Peoples was my principle for six years. He is a great person who cares about the students and community. If it wasn't for him I probably would have not gotten to go to college. He helped me get into college even after I had been out of Anderson Jr. High School for eight years. Plus he still remembered everything about me. I think this whole mess is just a big misunderstanding and it will be settled and he will be cleared.
Wasn't there another situation years ago while he was @ Wilson? I can't remember what it was, but it seemed like he transferred from Wilson out to Anderson as a result.
so they think this guy stole money from the school? I know "innocent until proven guilty" but I also know "where there is smoke, there is a fire"
The incident at Wilson ten or twwlve years ago,had to do with the drama dept. and not DP.
I did some work with the kids at Anderson and Mr. Peoples was always really great to work with. So many children look up to him so I really hope this is all some big misunderstanding.
"where there is smoke, there is a fire"
and where's the smoke?
and where's the smoke?

HERE IS THE SMOKE!!!!!!!!!!!!!
you obviously havent been updated lately on the issue. let me know when you catch up.
I just read the Shoals Enquirer's story (that's what it is). When they quote a "friend" I always think what kind of friend tell something like this about someone?
I just clicked over and read the Shoals Insider account of this story. I just had to laugh at the "source." She acknowleged that things (money and equipment) were missing, but then blamed Mr. Valentine for doing something about it. I know her point was that she thinks he is being opportunistic about when he chooses to investigate. But, still it just cracked me up that her anger was solely on Mr. V and not the alleged culprit. I do not know the individual charged, so I have no idea about the charges or his character, etc...just what I read in the paper and on SI.
