Captain Ed Freeman is the ultimate emergency responder. In an act of profound bravery he flew an unarmed helicopter into a closed landing zone with heavy enemy gunfire to save his comrades – 14 times. Capt. Freeman earned the Medal of Honor for his service in Vietnam.
