Yea, good articles. Comes out on Wednesdays
Like everyone else in this town, the editor of the Courier Journal has an opinion on a range of subjects. He has his column in the CJ to air his and we have this forum and other means to air ours. While I disagree with his opinion about 99% of the time, I am a firm believer in his right to have that opinion and state it in a public forum. I went to Vietnam in 1964 to ensure that right for him and everyone else. While you may disagree with his opinion, never disagree with right to say it because if you take away his right to free speech then someone will take away yours before you know it.
The CJ's format is a classified ads paper. If you don't believe that it works, look at the number of weekly ads and their cost vs TD's classified ads and their cost. As was stated above, if you don't like the paper, the trash can is available at your house or whatever you want to do with it.
As to the owner, remember the ole adage before implying anything about him; If you live in a glass house don't throw stones.
