I got a job, I think a good one. It sounds like it, of course you never know until you actually start it.

Congrats flotown79 I do not have any kids but I have a niece and nephew that are the light of my life and I really miss that age. I will scare you now, it seems like yesterday my niece was that age. Now boys are calling and texting her. Which is not cool at all. I am not handling that well at all. I am afraid that she is going to find some guy like I use to be, urgh.

My 6 year old son's school hands out a "goal sheet" each 6 weeks and there are behavioral, educational, and reading goals listed. If the child meets all of their goals during the 6 weeks and before a deadline date then they get to go on a "special" field trip for a reward. I am proud of my little boy for meeting all of his goals and making good grades. Because of his hard work and self-control (NOT talking in the lunch line and for the first 10 minutes of lunch is hard for a 6 year old little boy) he is off to see Madagascar 2 today during school. I prayed for them to have a fun and safe trip this morning as I pulled out of the circle in front of school... and of course... for him to behave while away from school today.
Congratulations on the potty training flotown79! I have one that is about ready to start that and I absolutely dread it. However, it is nice to know that I won't be shelling out the money for Pampers anymore. Wink
Congratulations on the new job Chicken. You are truly blessed. There are so many who are struggling with finding a good job right now.
I am proud to read about people who volunteer their time around the holidays. It really helps everyone out. I serve Thanksgiving lunch and Christmas lunch every year and it does my heart and soul good and I love watching the people when they leave so happy with their food or I love watching them be happy and grateful while eating it. I love this time of year. Miracles really do happen around this time...

I am SO proud he met his goals (especially the "behavior" goals!) Give him a big hug & kiss for me!
