I agree with you Flo.The republicans forgot about what they were elected to do and started acting like the Dems.

No, both side have forgotten country first, political party second.

But hey, we keep reelecting them!!!
Based on everything I've read about the tea parties, this is the exact premise of the parties. It isn't one sided, as liberals want to argue.
I guess you can make the TEA party be about anything you want to be... I guess if you want to consider it anti-Obama then so be it... or if you truly think it is about trying to strive for a better tomorrow... especially for our children then that is your right. But, that is the great thing about living in the USA... you can have your own opinion and you can fight for what you choose to believe in...
"The organizers of the group also said "If your against a trillion dollars of new social welfare programs, widespread wealth re-distribution, spending money we don't have, this protest is for you."

How about protesting the pork that both parties fight for each year.

How about protesting for a mandatory term limit.

How about protesting how lying politicians are never held accountable.

How about protesting self pay raises.

You see when the real issues are talked about and handled properly, other things like welfare, outrageous spending, and trips abroad with the spouse will get in control.
