Why did no Repub propose a Tea Party during the 8 years Pres Bush was in office?
I am not disagreeing with the Tea Party for this administration, but to be fair I can think of many things that should have been protested against if one really believes in the Constitution.

A gathering of extremists on the steps of the Court House steps. Absolutely fascinating. Reminds me of the recent KKK rally in Colbert Co.
Just for the record... I did not come up with this idea nor did I organize it... I just simply wondered if anyone would be going to this ...
I am not accusing you of being behind this.
As a person that sees both sides as slime I just find it funny that there was no protest of Pres Bush from Repubs a few years ago.
We must be true to this country first and political partys second.

I also find it funny that Dems see nothing wrong with this administration also.
I agree with you Flo.The republicans forgot about what they were elected to do and started acting like the Dems.

In 94 they came up with the contract with America.And they passed some of the measures and some didn`t.Some even kept their promise of only serving two terms.But after they left the true trash stayed and this is what we are left with.

I have not seen all of them, but the ones I have seen clips of seem to be anti-Obama rallies rather than "Leaders of Both Parties Need to Get It Right."
I guess you can make the TEA party be about anything you want to be... I guess if you want to consider it anti-Obama then so be it... or if you truly think it is about trying to strive for a better tomorrow... especially for our children then that is your right. But, that is the great thing about living in the USA... you can have your own opinion and you can fight for what you choose to believe in...
I won't be going. Hubby and I have other plans.

How about protesting the pork that both parties fight for each year.
How about protesting for a mandatory term limit.
How about protesting how lying politicians are never held accountable.
How about protesting self pay raises.
You see when the real issues are talked about and handled properly, other things like welfare, outrageous spending, and trips abroad with the spouse will get in control.
