I was thinking of reading this new series by Stephanie Meyer, I think there are four books in the Twilight series. Has anyone read these and how did you like them? (It is suppose to be similar to Harry Potter)

i haven't, but my "bonus" daughter told me last night that she had read all four of them in the past three weeks, and she still has not read the last 3 harry potter books. she said they were "teen" romance, but it wasn't too young. I am not that into vampires, but it might be worth reading.
My teen read thm and loved them, so I decided to try it and read the whole series, they were great. The second book occupied me all day and night, was able to get it read and go on. They were great.
Did I say how great they were...LOL!!! We can't wait until the movie comes out.
There is another thread on this. I would recommend this series to anyone! I love the books, on the fourth one now.
These books are really popular among the teens in my library. I read the first one to see what the fuss is all about, but I won't waste my time on the rest of them. The writing is atrocious and they need to be edited down by half. They are also full of anti-feminist themes. I have friends that enjoy them but I think they are terrible.
