You got that a wee bit confused, my Friend.   Either one believes in the God of the Bible, the Creator -- or one believes in the gods of atheism, the gods of Nothing.   I am a Creationist.   You are a Nothingnist.

Since you have stated emphatically in another post that YOU ARE NOT A CHRISTIAN -- I suppose you can claim to believe in gods.  You can even claim to believe in Deep's gods of his Religion of Nothing -- or you can call upon your New Age gods or your Wicca gods.

However, I will stay a Creationist who believes in the one God of the Bible.  But, thank you for your concern.

Yes, Bill,   "YOU ARE NOT A CHRISTIAN", is correct. However, the question was do you believe in one or more specific gods.  I do, therefore, I AM NOT AN ATHEIST!

A reminder: Xtians believe in 5 gods: Yahweh, Jesus, Holy Spirit, Mary and Satan.  .... With a few demigods tossed in for good measure such a Gabriel and other angels.

There are plenty of atheists in the shoals and elsewhere, even in churches.

Most Christians don't hang out here because their belief would be tested into oblivion.

I think many Christians don't "hang out here" because it's a bit like Mary Worth. Your Internet is down for two weeks and you've missed? Probably nothing. If you did miss something, there would be a rerun the next month.

I believe in the God that created the Heavens and the earth. The very same one that was sent by His father to die for our sins. The same one that was murdered by his own people for a crime he did not commit. The same one that hung on on Old Rugged Cross and bled and died for yours and my sins. The same one that now sits at the right hand of Father God. The very same one that some day will come again for his people sitting on a white horse. The same one that all believers In Him will spend eternity with. His name is Jesus Christ and he loves us beyond our comprehension. I wish you would accept Him today before it's to late.

Yes Bestworking, and you are a very sinful person also. Weather you want to believe it or not. Some day that will ALL be revealed to you. At the Great White Throne Judgement. Read up on the Great White Throne Judgement if you haven't already.

Oh really? Name one of my sins. I don't think people should die for me, you on the other hand must be so bad you think it calls for death, someone elses death that is. I say you should stand up and take your own blame instead of letting someone else be punished for you.

Take a look at the Ten Commandments. Compare your deeds to them then see where you stand. Of course if you don't believe in the Bible or the Ten Commandments then your comments are all for naught.

Bestworking, where do you think your freedom came from? Battles that were fought before you were even born where men and women died for the very freedom you enjoy now. You still enjoy your freedom at anothers expense. Same thing for Jesus. No, you didn't ask Jesus to die for you no more than you asked those thousands of servicemen to die so you could have freedom but the fact remains that SOMEONE DID DIE FOR YOU so that you could live a free person.

Servicemen dying for freedom is not the same as your claim that someone died for imaginary "sins".

You really have ONLY ONE sin for which you WILL stand judgment.  What is that one sin?  It is the sin of denying God.   Whether you adamantly believe He does not exist -- or whether you will admit, to yourself, that He does indeed exist, but, you just do not want Him in your life -- THAT IS DENYING GOD.

And, that is the one sin for which you WILL be convicted.   Does it matter that you will have to only answer for that one sin?   Well, let's take the case of a fictional serial murderer.   He has killed over 100 people; but, is convicted and executed for killing only one of those people.  Does it matter to him that he was convicted and executed for only one murder -- or should he demand his day in court for all 100 murders? 

He can only be convicted and executed once. 

And, you can only be judged and condemned by your personally chosen lifestyle once.  You choose to deny God; you choose to spend eternity in hell.  It is that simple.

How can YOU blame anyone but YOURSELF?  YOU are choosing this eternal home.  He is not choosing it for you.  YOU are given the ability and the right, i.e., "free will" -- to choose you own eternal home -- and YOU are, to date, choosing to spend eternity in hell -- YOUR CHOICE.   And, my Friend, you will have to live with that choice -- eternally.

Yes, Jennifer, you can huff and puff -- declaring that I, or some other Christians, are condemning you to hell.   No so, my Friend.  This is 100% YOUR choice.  No one will, or can, make this decision for you.  I cannot, no one can -- only you. 

All we are doing is telling the spiritually blind person that he/she is walking toward a cliff.
