Komrade,

Freedom of speech is only guaranteed to the proletariat under a Glorious Workers' Paradise, especially where a Central Committee filters out counter-revolutionary, lickspittle bourgeous infiltrations of propaganda!

Only when monopolies, trusts, and profiteers are smashed on the rocks of the Anvil of Workers' Nobility can free speech flourish!

I have been in a few Socialist Countries, Canada most recently, and free speech flourishes there, and in Germany and France, as well. Mexico is capitalist, I think they allow some freedom of speech and political action, but then WHO WANTS TO LIVE IN THAT CAPITALIST PLACE.

It appears that, yes, you reside in America, maybe in Alabama... BUT you joined a PRIVATE web site, where the Constitutional Freedom's do not apply like they would out in the world...

This forum is owned and operated by someone who PAYS for it, so you have to abide by THEIR rules, and THEIR regulations, regardless of what you WANT to do...

Hmmmmm, you are definitely NOT new on this site, I can tell that... whenever ANYONE joins a new forum, they talk to people, they get to know some who they have something in common with, and post a few post...

You came on here like a Fighting Tiger, with insults to anyone who disagreed with you.... so my guess is that you ARE a former member... either still on your original name at times, and created this one to do your bashing/baiting... Or else you may NOT have followed the rules first time around, so you had to create a new personna to be here..

Either way... you are a very insulting, snide, crude person... and I am interested to see which ones you take under YOUR wing... LOL!!!

Causing probs for TD already??? Yep, and baiting and luring and trolling to get people to argue...

Ain't gonna work with me... I am just gonna giggle my way through it! lololol Cool
Kindred,

Just to ease your mind. I'm not new because i've read these forums since they have started. I've never posted so you have me confused with someone else. I was also unaware that "bleeding heart" was on the political correct do not say list. Did i mention any names on that post? NO. Maybe you should abide by your "tolerence" message a little more yourself.

USA 1, Sweden is a socialist nation. FREEDOM OF SPEECH IS GUARANTEED THERE. Same In England, France, Germany, Canada, And THE USA. Police Departments, Fire Departments, Highway Systems, Public Schools are all socialist BUSINESSES.

Is that why you cant say a sentence ending with "in Jesus' name" in our public schools?

Or a Florida Fire truck can't drape an american flag on their truck after 9/11?

I've always kinda liked the "ask not what your country can do for you" speech

The flag thing made news soon after 9/11. It offended people that the fire truck was displaying an american flag. I guess they should have burned it in the streets and just let the fire truck put it out.

I just read a few posts from you on the Helen Keller topic that were strongly against socialism.
Past KS reading you the riot act this thread is hilarious (whatever did you do to her anyway?) -- new person, old person, troller that doesn't post or as KS called you "Fighting Tiger" that attacks immediately -- welcome to the wonderful world of the TD foray....

Thanks BB02 and Sass I have not laughed so hard in a day or two...needed that...

The whole point behind the post was this. The more government control the less freedom of everthing. I also would not equate socialism to your examples.
Of course you would not. You don't recognize the FASCIST nature of the attacks on Public education. Most ot the Sheeple who are being indoctrinated by the right wing don't.
I think, believe, and will attempt to watch you without responding in the future USA 1. You are presenting, in the guise of debate, CLICHE COMMENTS WITHOUT ANY SUPPORTING MATERIAL

War Is Peace.

Book One, Chapter 7

"If there was hope, it must lie in the proles, because only there, in those swarming disregarded masses, eighty-five percent of the population of Oceania, could the force to destroy the Party ever be generated."

"Until they become conscious they will never rebel, and until after they have rebelled they cannot become conscious." - referring to the proles.

Book One, Chapter 8

"…to do anything that suggested a taste for solitude, even to go for a walk by yourself, was always slightly dangerous. There was a word for it in Newspeak: ownlife…"

I had a knee jerk reaction to this the first time I read it.

Sort of like sure, I have freedom of speech, and you have freedom of speech so what the H E Double toothpicks are you WHINING ABOUT? I get this kind of sensation that the Conservatives are crying about having to allow free speech to even the least liberal speakers.

So, I reacted by focusing on the word "socialist" in the comment. I know what socialism actually is, I know how the Neo Conservatives had corrupted the word. They have gone so far as to define Nazism as Socialist, though it is actually the same brand of fascism they are preaching.
Now USA1 is equating socialism with government censorship. Nazis censored speech and writing, dictators typically suppress free speech, but Socialist Governments, like the one created by the US Constitution generally guarantee Free Speech. At least the successful socialist nations, most of Europe, in any case, gurantee freedom of speech, the press, religion, and most, if not all of the guarantees Americans are used to, and demand. There are restrictions on Gun ownership in much of Europe, and the UK France, Italy and Spain all have a state religion, but allow the practice of others.

Can you post anything in your own words? Orwell is dead.

In short, I said socialism threatens free speech. You said it didn't but went on to say that our school system is a type of socialism.
Now answer my question.

Can a student pray?
Can they say the pledge?

Socialism = censorship

Yes, of course a student can pray. If you think otherwise, you have listened to Jerry Falwell too long.
Yes, a student can say the Pledge of Alligence.

I am confused as to why you would even bring such questions to any discussion.

Not that big of a fan of Falwell. I do agree that you are confused.

Can a student pray? yes, but he cannot be required to
Can they say the pledge? yes but he cannot be required to

Socialism = censorship WRONG...TYRANNY, FASCIST, SOCIALIST, COMMUNIST OR THEOCRATIC = CENSORSHIP.
I notice that you responded to my words by requesting that I post my own words. ARE YOU A MENTALLY COMPETENT?

I notice that you remark on the fact that Orwell is dead. I know that, Eric Arthur Blair died in January of 1950. He fought in the Spanish civil war, and wrote under the pen name of George Orwell.

I have yet to see any thought, coherent or otherwise posted in your screen name. In fact to the best of my recollection you have said, Hi, I'm Here, and NUUU UUUH. or it equivalent and little else.

GO AWAY SONNY YOU ARE BOTHERING THE ADULTS.
