John Kennedy said "Ask not what America can do for you but rather what you can do for America".

These days even our own Congressional representatives voice their lack of devotion to our country. "This is wrong, that is wrong" all for the spin they can get to further their own agendas.

My question. What have you done for America? Today or in the past. What is your patriotic devotion to "the Land of the Free and the Home of the Brave"?

Please kindly refrain from your own agendas, thanks.

Noticed that this topic did not get much response, not surprising to me. Oh, yes there is that one with an agenda. Who?

This is what all the members of this forum have done for our Country? A non response means, to me, nothing done for America, or can't think of anything done.

Those who had something to say, thank you. Those who did not, how do you think you got the freedom to post here? Done nothing, shame. Where are all you mega posters? Lots to say, no substance, character or Patriotism. So be it.

Those that have stated what they do to serve the country? i thank you and admire you, but there are some of us that love this country, but quietly serve in many small ways...and with no need to post it on a forum.

Your post reminds me of emails i receive proclaiming "If you don't forward this to 25 people in the next 2 minutes it means you don't love Jesus..."

I don't father illegimitate kids and then run off without supporting them. That's what I do for my country.

What he said.

I'm sure Nash simply forgot to add "I love my country and would die for it if necessary" so I'll add that for him. Wink

Umm, perhaps that's 'cause your topic title sucked? The only reason I am in this topic is because I accidentally click on it while meaning to clink on another. Jeez.

I also notice that you conveniently omitted what YOU have done for your country.

Suffice it to say that although I've tried, and lived what I perceive to be a good life, I fall short of deserving the freedom I enjoy. I do give thanks to all of those who have sacrificed unselfishly for the United States of America.

GREAT answer!!!
