ATM stolen from Cox Creek Suntrust with stolen fork lift

Saw this on the evening news. I bet they have a really hard time getting into it. I think it would be hilarious if there was nothing but $2 in it if and when they do.

My guess is that they will be caught before they even get that far though.  LOL

The report says that they did remove the money from the machine.

Sorry bout that, yeah I didn't read the link the first time and didn't remember that part from the news. Sounds to me like they were indeed pros and had it all planned out pretty well. From what I know and have heard those things are extremely hard to get into. I wonder how much they got?

I still figure they will have them in custody within a week if not sooner. I guess we'll see.

Once you have ripped it out with a forklift, I'm thinking it would be quite easy to get into.

That's pretty much identical to what happened here.  Hell, it could even be the same guys.  I will be surprised if local authorities catch these guys.  They are probably long gone.... already casing out their next one.

I agree. It could very well be the same guys. I guess if you are going to steal atm's this is definitely the way to do it.

Shouldn't be hard to solve this case. It has to be someone that worked at the construction site at the new Publix. That's where they stole the forklift from.

A lot of construction equipment don't have keys or good security.

And if it does require a key there is a good bit that are generically keyed.

Haven't heard anything else about it so they must be far away by now.
