Auburn Trounces Bama!

Still saying Roll Tide here. I wouldn't call barely winning by 1 point a 'trouncing'. You got really lucky this year.

I agree not a a trouncing, but pretty impressive to shut down an opponent that had them 24-0, and hold them to only 6 points the second half!

Why can't all you Auburn fans just suck it up and say that ya'll got lucky. It wouldn't have been that way if Bama had scored instead of having those red zone woes.

But, it is what it is a win is a win. Same as a loss is a loss.

As far as Auburn and the rest of this season I hope SC kicks the **** out of them Sat.

To me it looked like two teams laying it on the line play after play. As fans isn't that what we've come to expect? Yes they both had miscues but both teams gave it everything they had. WDE

Well said. I felt it would be a close game with either team having a chance to win it at the end. It was Auburn's year, and I wish them luck the rest of the way.

It would be awesome to have two different teams from the state of Alabama with back to back championships and both with a heisman trophy winner.

WTF? Trounces?

Domineering Auburn wasn't. Alabama played a heck of a first half but Auburn did what they had to in order to achieve the win and keep their national title hopes alive. It wasn't the first time, this season, that Alabama has not showed up the second half of a game. If Auburn doesn't pick it up though South Carolina I fear will not be so generous.

I'm a Bama fan but closed my eyes and rooted for Auburn since they were the only Alabama (SEC) team with a National Title Chance. To call it a Trouncing though is a vast overstatement. Last year's game was a Trouncing this years game was pulling it out of a bodily orifice to put it mildly.

They did what they had to do and I'm glad they did keep their title hopes alive and Newton's Heisman's hopes. If Auburn gets it in their head, though, that they they trounced anyone in Friday's game then they are going to fall short of their real goal.
