I am on all those registers,so what? I prefer Actifed,so what? And coming from a bleeding heart,knee jerk liberal Democrat that says alot. It is what it is.

cdh, I'm not defending them but it is a possibility that so many of the professional meth heads cross the river into different counties to purchase products containing ephedrine or pseudoephedrine for use in manufacturing meth. They may have had a bad problem with folks doing that, just a thought. So sorry that happened to you though.

Did you try buying it in Florence?

If someone has to be inconvenienced to help keep meth out of Muscle Shoals, then I say good job Avalon Drugs! I am sure if you went to any drugstore in Muscle Shoals or Colbert County, you would have run into the same thing. I don't think it's fair to single them out when they are just doing what is right.

Are you sure your place of residence was what she saw when she tried to put your info in the computer? Good question, semiannual!

I dont know why they would not sell it to someone from another town. Last I checked the law said they had to log it, not that you had to be from the town it is sold in.

I've bought it in Moulton, Cullman and numerous other places at times, I travel alot and run into Walmart for lunch wherever I am closest to a Walmart when I need it. I am not going to drive into Muscle Shoals to buy something when I am closer to Russellville or Moulton that particular day.

I think these places, as well as the laws, are stepping way above and beyond what would be required to put a stop to this mess. Last I checked it was innocent until proven guilty. What we need to do is require the DA's office to pay for a persons defense whenever they are found innocent. Why are we required to pony up the cash to prove that we havent done anything wrong.....
