through the week L.L. has a special discounted price for game from 9am to 4 pm. I took my two children in there at 3:55 pm. My cell phone had the correct time as well as one of the clocks in L.L.

The manager said he computer on the cash register had the time at 4:04 pm and would not give me the discount. I took by children and walked out. Not to mention that another employee had to go find the clerk to get her to assist us, while we waited on her to get to the register.

What the clerk did at L.L. was poor customer service and dishonest.

That was poor business, very poor... Most Cell phones are automatically set by times that are the same on most computers, and electronics... I say you got a raw deal. Sorry your kids didn't get to bowl, and I hope they understood that it was the MGT fault that they were so greedy over a few MINUTES... I have never really liked LL anyway...

That was what I thought too, Nash... but that seems to have changed a lot these days.. I guess because there were SO many customers who abused that, it hurt the others.

Now, as it stands, YO is telling his experience, everyone here reads it, tells their friends.. no matter how much money LL will lose just for the sake of a few minutes.

Once again,L.L.won't miss a dime!!!!!but,your children missed a fun time bowling for what? .35? What if 50 people asked to bend the rules on the same day or the customer behind you expected to go ahead and get the discount?

The 'point', if there still IS one to be made, is that WE have taken to letting things (lousy customer service, false/misleading advertising, poor work ethics, etc) 'slide' for TOO **** LONG, to the point that we have come to 'accept these things as NORMAL'. However, SOME of us have chosen NOT to continue to go along with the 'head in the sand, deer in the headlights, haven't got a clue' crowd and exercise our RIGHT to be PI$$ED.

Roflmao... This one was kinda funny to read... Paws/sista definitely seem to have an identity crisis... that's at least obvious. And also said for you to use Food stamps yet said no disrespect.. xD

Anyways, onto the topic, I agree with you and Dog. I've ran into problems when going to L.Lanes in the past, myself. Mostly them charging too much for something, and decided then that I'd never go back even though I do enjoy bowling. It takes the fun out of any recreation to be treated in this way.

I am very sorry your kids did not get to bowl, but I am sure that they did learn a lesson in how to treat others, and in honesty. Good going, there. Smiler
