The neighborhood of Molenbeek in Brussels is one of those virtually ruled by the Muslims.  Its where the Jahidim for the latest attacks, as well as the attacks in Paris, planned and outfitted for the attacks.  Why haven't the Belgians done more to make their nation safe?  Political correctness, just as in the US and the rest of western Europe, is a factor.  Another is sheer lack of the forces to do so.  Per Wiki, during the Cold War, their army numbered over 200,000 in 10 brigade combat teams.  Now, their army numbers about 20,100 with two brigade combat teams -- that's about 6,000 actual combat troops.  The nation doesn't have sufficient forces to protect their population from their population.

It's hard to believe that the country that makes civilian guns for Browning and Winchester  would allow their public to become so defenseless.

Probably won't be a conflict much longer.  FN Columbia [SC] turns out some very nice Brownings and Winchesters and America's brands will be American once more.

Until recently, Belgium had a thriving arms blackmarket -- nearly anything could be purchased almost in the open.  Most law abiding Belgiue didn't.  Many in the no go zones did.

Trying to be neutral again in a second global war ain't so smart.

Belgium hasn't finished picking up the pieces from the last one.

Hope it isn't too late for them and the other countries being invaded, and hope to **** we can get the muzzies out of our politics before they get a good hold on us. IF it already isn't too late.

Most of the EU countries have chosen to gut their militaries to pay for their welfare systems in the hope that they could buy the loyalty of their citizens; but the problem is that not everyone receiving freebies wants to be a citizen. The "Allahu Akbar" crowd have full bellies and a roof over their heads and plenty of time to scheme since they don't need to rest up from working.
