The Bush average GDP was 2.3 percent. The average Reagan GDP was 7.9 percent.

Dire, I looked at a GDP site. It gave Obama credit for a 3.23 GDP growth, this included a .11% in 2009. It gave  Bush a 5.78 average, it gave Reagan a 8.52 number. Keep in mind, it gave Carter credit for a 11.53 average GDP. Reagan and Carters number came when less american manufacturers had left america and there was a higher percent on unionized workers in america.

I just wonder what he means. Surely he isn't saying union workers are better and more skilled. I see to much to convince me that just isn't true. So jt, what does that mean?

That is exactly what I'm saying about the building trades. There is no comparison between the average union craftsman and the average non union craftsman. I'm not familiar with all unions, only building trades.

OK, thatis  what you mean and it is BS. I have had work done, never by union workers, and the work has been superb, and from what I have seen of their work, superior to union workers.

Gifted, can you explain

I'll let Gifted answer, but until then-

gone to ground

I suspect you viewed statistics normalized for inflation.  For Reagan and before, that would be correct.  I've used the same.  However, for Obama's last 7.5 years, I used the US Bureau of Labor Statistics stats, as there was little inflation during that recent period.  BLS recently downgraded the stats for Obama's administration, as I referenced a few times in the forum.

Anytime you think your biased opinions can cause me to "lay low", don't break your arm trying to pat yourself on your back. As of yet, I haven't saw a post from you that could truthfully hurt my feelings.

That could be because you keep asking everyone what do
they mean when they post you.....??...

No one has tried to "hurt your feelings". What are you mentally, five years old? You lay low, or go to ground, when you don't want to, or can't, answer questions, yet you will ask someone to answer your questions over and over. What about your "biased" opinions?

You can choose not to believe the truth. In commercial and industrial applications, there is no comparison. Residential is not normally union.

I choose to believe what I see. There are a few things we insist on when we have work done. No union workers and no "foreign"/illegal workers are two of those things. Commercial and industrial applications, well, that's the ones unions hold hostage and drives the costs up millions more than it should be, and even more the pity, as I said, the overblown costly work is substandard.

I'm sort of proud that you have found another phrase. Even though you didn't think of it on your own, you copied from someone else. You other stock phrases were getting stale.

What "stock" phrases? Demoslops is a name for you guys, not a "phrase" and it suits you guys perfectly. I didn't "find" the phrase "gone to ground", I knew it already, and when she used it I said it fit you perfectly. So why not use it? It wouldn't hurt you to find a few new phrases or uses for words. I'll put my vocabulary/ability to use words, against yours any day. This "reply" you posted proves you've gone to ground once more.

In England, "gone to ground" is a reference to fox hunting.  The fox finds a hole and hides from the hounds.

Yes, but in jt's case:

Seriously jt.. You're just another case of katagelophobia...

Jack, don't ever think you are gonna embarrass me. The embarrassment should come to you when you read the childish stuff you post.

The reason I post childish to you jt, should be obvious since
you, being a child, can at times keep up. You forget the fact
that liberalism is a form of Syphilis and really screws up any
chance of you having a mature objective thought.

I realize your idea of a good life is the perpetual birthday
party, never ending free stuff from the working class
pockets....  Happy Birthday Mr. hellery slave....

Jack, judging from the intellect level of your posts, you are either in a second childhood mental state or got your freedom when the treatment centers got closed.   You have probably got more government free stuff in your life than me. I just don't remember getting any free stuff.

Maybe it's possible that you "don't remember" due to a short circuit.
