Do you know Sanders is a self proclaimed socialist?

If you answered yes to all three- Do you know that your are an idiot?

After 50 continuous years in the work force, I retired. Thus I am no longer employed.

Your second question assumes that all or a great many who receive public assistance "don't want to work." I do not agree with that presumption.

The matter of  Bernie being a "socialist" is not the simple thing that you, in your simple-mindedness, apparently conceive. You need to read this enlightening article written by someone who does not buy into knee-jerk assumptions based on one or a few unexplicated descriptors:

http://www.nytimes.com/2015/10...capitalist.html?_r=0

Read the article. Bernie's trying the same old ploy -- social security and fire fighting are socialist. No. Bernie, they are not.  From reading what he describes as democratic socialism capitalism, it sounds like a cross between Mussolini's fascism and Franco's falangism. Just two more early 20th century crackpot theories not based upon economic reality.

I know that if that goof ball is elected he would double our national debt  (ironically just as Obama has done).

Then vote for Trump.  He will  get the Mexicans to pay for all that stuff, just like he's going to get them to pay for that huge, fantastic, tremendous wall!

From Sander's 12 point plan:

3. Creating Worker Co-ops

We need to develop new economic models to increase job creation and productivity. Instead of giving huge tax breaks to corporations which ship our jobs to China and other low-wage countries, we need to provide assistance to workers who want to purchase their own businesses by establishing worker-owned cooperatives. Study after study shows that when workers have an ownership stake in the businesses they work for, productivity goes up, absenteeism goes down and employees are much more satisfied with their jobs.

Here Sanders is more a freebie giving liberal Dem/Syndicalist cross. I have no problem with the UAW buying GM and running it themselves, but I don't think we can rob enough taxpayers including the "0.1 percenters" to front them the money like we did Obama's clean energy crony capitalists. To even attempt something like this, the goobermint would have to essentially seize corporations from their owners and offer pennies on the dollar for compensation.

Publix is employee-owned.  Next time you are in a Publix store advise the nearest employee that you think he/she is a socialist.

Old age is messin' with your comprehension. I plainly stated that I don't mind employees buying their own businesses themselves; that's capitalism:

"I have no problem with the UAW buying GM and running it themselves, but I don't think we can rob enough taxpayers including the "0.1 percenters" to front them the money like we did Obama's clean energy crony capitalists."

What I do mind is that for the goobermint to carry out Sander's plan, we would exceed the Wiemar Republic and Zimbabwe in "dead-broke-bustedness" and would likely rob productive people of their old-age money.

This washed up socialist does not stand a chance.  Even the Dems don't like him.  According to stories this morning Hillary has sewn () up the supermajority of the Dem votes to be the candidate, and she is the best they have. She outscored this old cretin four times over. If he can't find an audience with the Dems he darn sho' ain't gonna find one with the Independents.

Daybydaycartoon.com has an amusing comment on Bernie and Hillary. Comcast is blocking the website, so you might have a problem viewing.  Its very conservative and sometimes R rated.  The main point is a Russian immigrant to the US is asked his opinion about the top two Democrat candidates. He compares Sanders with an old party apparatchick (functionary).  About Hillary, he first asks "She is woman, da?  Looks like Brezhnev."  At which time his questioner loses his cookies -- Oreos.
