Funny that this topic was posted seeing as how there have been no major infractions from either, or inquiries from the NCAA into either.
Once again, you do realize that Bama was on probation from major violations(stemming from incidents that had the atletic department tip toeing the line of the dreaded NCAA tag of lack of institutional control also) during their title run last year right? If you hate your rival team, just pull for your team and be happy Bama is back to national prominance and ignore Auburn all together. You'd be much happier in life.
Having to resort to year old pictures that have been all over the Internet now I see.

But I'll indulge you in your fantasy...YES! that picture proves that the barn is cheating. cheesik and $cam are going down. forget about our own Tider Jerrell Harris being suspended for getting a laptop and then lying about it...it's all part of the NCAA, the FBI, the CIA, the FDIC and AARP looking into deeper crimes at the barn. How do I know this? Because I read it on another message board. Oh and $cam giving a rolex to his gf? That proves he has turned into an informant against the barn. After all, $cam and his dad were smart enough to hide their signing money from a 6 month investigation, why else would he openly give his gf a watch? At least that's what I read.
Why all the hate? Can't see the need to continue to degrade and insult the opposing team, by either side.

I'm a "Barner" and pull for the Tide all but one game. I don't take the jabs as insults until they become personal.

If you want to take football jabs, fine, I understand. If you want to insult an entire University based upon a football program, you will have to throw out ALL academic minumums, standards, and output from any arguement.

I know things change, but a month or so ago, Cam Newton was single... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Uc-kjkUFZj0 (see around the 1:37 mark)

Ronnie P., the guy who believes everything he reads on the internet, and evidently, thinks everyone that plays football is poor, and that if Dakota Mosley is holding money, something must be up. Aaah, to be as gullible and naive as Ronnie P.

What about Dakota Mosley's parents? You didn't assume they may have given him that money as a graduation gift or something did you? Nope, straight to the negative reaction. but Dre's parents are fine upstanding folks who make the kind of jack it takes to buy a brand new Caddy AND a brand new tricked out Charger right? LMAO! And Mark Ingram got that sweet ride straight up too right? No way for anyone to make a negative assumption on that is there? LMAO!

Oh...and once again, that was never a quote that was even reported by anyone in the media, much less proven as something that was said by anyone in the Newton family. But keep making up lies to try to make Cam look bad. I know that is the only thing that keeps you from taking a swan dive off the back endzone of Bryant Denny Stadium, that hope that something bad would happen to Auburn. LOL...seriously man. Bama just had a great win over the co-Big Ten champs and this is all Bama fans can talk about??? really????

"Kirkpatrick comes from a neighborhood where his mother can cite a couple of his early friends who saw their lives swallowed up by the streets. They found the wrong places and wrong influences and now they no longer come around her house."

(interesting note, Dre's father is a preacher)

Dirty school ruin college football for everyone.

So you're saying Bama's win over Mich St. is tainted because Bama is a dirty school? Oh... so that's why you are AUbsessed with all things Auburn and Cam Newton. You think Bama is dirty and hate that you pull for a dirty team?
Just a note to show how far the hate has gone. Watched on Facebook yesterday as one friend berated the "hated" rival and all of their fans. He's a business owner of a supply business and shall remain un-named. Read the posts below and witnessed two of his customers close their accounts for all to see, just as his comments were out there for all to see.

I only regret I couldn't see the private emails that surely went out thereafter. Amazing what people will post anonomously, even more amazing what they will post for all to know and see.

Priceless.
I hear ya LE. I hate all the hate. I love football, and love Auburn football.

I never want to start any garbage about Bama, though I know there are some Auburn fans who do. I have never, nor do I now, hate The University of Alabama and especially not any of their football players. The only time I post anything remotely negative about either is because of hate filled Bama fans. I love the jabs that come with the rivalry, but the nastiness just reminds me of middle school. It's gotten old. I truely want Bama to win all of their games until they play Auburn. I want Auburn to win all of their games period.

I could probably post more accuarate info about Bama football over the last 20 years than most so called Bama fans who simply hate Auburn more than they love Alabama. I could name you names and locations, and probably #s of just about every Bama player in the NFL right now. I think it is a great thing for our state to be repped in the big leagues. This rivalry would be so much better if we all tried to RESPECT each other and the 2 universities. That doesn't mean we couldnt jab each other about textbooks for Antwan Caldwell or groceries for Eric Ramsey. Or about "36-0" in '08, or 6 in a row from '02-'07. But just keep the gloves up and have fun with it. Drop the nastiness.

Hey spiderman....ran across this article today. Thought you might want to see the view of a respected national sportswriter of AU. You would have to read the full article to get the context of the quote but I think you can get the gist of whats being said. He lumps Au in with Purdue??? & Illinois?????

"That's the big difference between the SEC and Big Ten -- the talent pool is deep enough in the South that an Auburn or Arkansas can rise up in a given year and compete nationally, but that's rarely going to happen with Purdue or Illinois."

Shoals, show me any of my post that indicate in the slightest that I hate The University of Alabama or any of their players. Not a post where I'm busted on a fan, I'm talking about where I speak negatively towards the university or any of their players.
And what did you mean by "whatever"? If you know me, then you know who my step-bro is I'm sure. He's as die hard Bama as anybody. He doesn't take time to constantly run down Auburn, he's just a Bama fan. I've kept up with Bama very well over the years like I said, and could be just as, if not more accurate than most "Bama fans" about their history over my lifetime. Once again, just because you hate Auburn does not mean I hate Bama.

As for that article... Why would I care about that? I care about ON THE FIELD play. And Auburn doesn't just rise up every once in a while. Auburn contends for the west as much as any other west division team. Arkansas contends about once ever 3 to 5 years. From 2003-2007 Auburn was the third winningest program in the nation behind only USC and LSU. In 2008, Auburn had a losing record for the first time since 1999, and now has turned around to win 21 of their last 26, on a 14 game winning streak, just won the SEC in a year where the West was better than it's every been and are playing for a BCS Championship. If completed, this will be the 2nd undefeated Auburn team in the last 7 years...do me a favor and name another SEC team to do that over the last 30 years or so...as a matter of fact, name me any team from a major conference to do that.
Once again, I don't care about perception of some suit with a pen and paper. I only go by on the field achievements. Auburn is consistently in the top teir of the SEC in my lifetime. You can talk about articles that you claim talk Auburn down in some way all you want, but if you look at on the field, my point is made for me.
I just thought the article was funny....Au lumped in with Arkansas, Purdue, and Illinois! You can fight the national perception all you want to....it is what it is.
"I speak negatively towards the university or any of their players." ummm...all the time. Since I've been posting on here, I see alot of that from you....and that is ALL RIGHT with me. I don't care, just calling you out on it b/c you said you don't do it. I mean it's your biggest rival, what are you supposed to do?

You always like to talk about recent....Alabama just set the record for most wins in the SEC over a 3 year period with 36.
No you haven't.. that's garbage and you know it. Just because you post now that you've seen me post negatives don't make it true. Find the post, thread, date and time stamp and show it to me. Not me bustin on Bammers, but me saying something bad about the university, coaches, or players. It ain't there.

And good for Bama. When praising Ingram and Jones on their fine careers I talked about how they were fantastic in getting Bama back to national prominence.
Auburn won 33 games through the 3 seasons of '04, '05, and '6.
Add in '07 for a 4 year total of 42 games.
And from 2002-2007 that total was 59 games won over a 6 year span.
From 2000-2007 the total was a pretty impressive 75 games won over 8 years.

That's an average of 9.4 wins a year over 8 years... now how many mid level teams you know could pull that off in the SEC?

Just to put up the comparison over the same years...
LSU won 82 games, 10.3 per
Arkansas won 57 games, 7.1 per
Bama won 53 games, 6.7 per

Figure I'd do a little research. lol
Twist numbers all you like. Bama will beat Au's 4 year mark next year. I hope you enjoy this title run and I think AU will win. This doesn't happen very often and we will see next year if AU can sustain at this level...I dont think they can.

I don't have the time or desire to look up your negative posts....I can't believe you don't think you do this anyway. Thats a moot point, drop it.

Also..it is funny that Auburn is lumped with Purdue, Illinois, Arkansas, and the other what-nots. At Bama's Bowl game, Michigan St. fans were asking, "Where exactly is Auburn?" you can't make this stuff up.

What does this prove? Mark Ingram's dad played 9 years in the NFL. I think they can afford it. SUVs aren't that expensive!

I didn't say any of the photos I posted proved anything. When did I say they proved anything except how easy it is to post pictures on the TD forum with the possiblilty of folks drawing incorrect conclusions about.
It was in response to Ronnie P posting the photo of Dakota Mosley holding some money. Of course if you want to draw the conclusion that something shady is going on you can, but it's a two way street. That's all those posts were.

Not drawing conclusions; thought that you were. I didn't read all those other stupid posts.
