What numbers did I twist exactly? That is factual based on that 8 year stretch. You are the one trying to twist some meaningless article into Auburn is irrelevant. My post was simply to show that on the field, Auburn is a top notch SEC program. Guess what, Bama is too. That's a good thing for both of us. The sooner Bama fans realize that and quit trying to tear Auburn down, the smoother their lives will progress from here. It wasn't the end of the world when Bama won it last year for Auburn fans, and it won't be the end of the world if Auburn pulls out a victory this year. It's great for the state, and great of the SEC, and great for the rivalry moving forward.
The only reason you keep posting stuff like this is because you hate Auburn. Once again, I don't hate Bama which is why I post negative comments about them.

Your right...I hate Au and if you had worked with a certain former player you would too! In the past I didnt hate AU..just UT. Then I had the privelidge of working with a former Dye era player who changed all that. Sorriest piece of crap I have ever met. I have even told other co-workers that if this dude had played at Bama, I wouldnt be a Bama fan...if that tells you something!

AU people are the ones who try to pull Bama down. They are obsessed with all things Bama and only care about winning the IB. Why would David Housel make that ridiculous speech (surely you know what I'm talking about)? Au does certain things on the recruiting trail to hurt Bama as well.

And it's not important for Bama to beat Auburn right?? LMAO!! I hate it when Bama fans say that about Auburn...as if it matters if it's true. Guess what, we all know for a fact that our teams are NOT going to play for championships every year. But we do know that the Iron Bowl is played EVERY year. It's the most important regular season game for both teams and fan bases. You are lying to yourself if you say otherwise.
Also, as great as Bama's 3 year record is, what do they have to show for it?
1-1 in SEC Champ games
1 BCS Championship
2-1 in bowls overall
2-1 vs Auburn.
Face it, you know those 2 wins over Auburn are MASSIVE in the eyes of your fanbase, as well they should be. That is a very important point of imphasis on that record.

And please, don't try the "AU does certain things on the recruiting trail to hurt Bama as well." But Bama recruiters never ever use any negative recruiting right? Out of all the top programs in the nation, Bama is the ONE that never uses any negative recruiting? Come on now. lol... Like I said, those things are a two way street.

He doesnt tell them you will never get to play if you go there or things of the sort. It goes deeper than that though. How does AU mahgically appear on some of our recruits "radar" late in the recruiting process. It has been said by many people in the know (especially not you) that Au will attempt to "get in" on certain Bama recruits to try to hurt Bama's chances or dissuade them all together.

Petey Smith, who's brother plays for Auburn, was thought to be headed to Auburn because of how VERY thin at LB the Tigers were at the time. Yet he signed with Bama with LB being their deepest position on the depth chart. How many snaps has ol Petey played for the Tide? I heard the exact same junk about Bama coaches just trying to make sure he didn't go to Auburn.

And you are correct!
Out of Auburn's run I posted over those 8 years they were 1-1 in SEC Championship games, won a BCS bowl to be argueably the best team in the nation after a 13-0 finish. And were 7-1 vs Alabama. That was my point...often times you look at a great run, and it's just hard in this day in time to win championships. That goes back to my parity comment. We both pull for top notch SEC programs. But for you to try to say your fanbase cares as much about beating those other teams you mentioned as much as Auburn is crazy talk, and aside of you just needing to disagree with me, you know that.

I for one would love to see the Iron Bowl be the first game of the season. Itis such an emotionally charged game that either team could win reguardless of the other's record,and being at the end of the season as it is now could knock one team out of the national championship hunt. Since the BCS is decided by poll standings losing a game at the end of the season carries much more weight than a loss at the start.

I was of the mindset to root for Auburn in the NC game BUT, all the crap I've been reading from the AU fans about their one point win (you'd think they won by 50+ points), the crap I hear and deal with at work from two AU fans (one changed my computer background from an pic of the UT blocked punt from last year to an AU logo) and the Cam Scam (which I think will end up being a MAJOR embarassment to the state ans SEC very soon) has got me to the point of wanting Oregon to beatthe QUACK out of AU. I even bought a Roll Ducks Roll shirt to wear to work on Monday!

Answer 1... When did I ever say Auburn never had any d!&$heads playing for them. Do you think every Bama player in history was a great guy? By the way, I met Todrick Malone once. He came in to the sports bar I used to tend at while at Auburn. We were having karaoke night and I did "Devil Went Down to Georgia". He dug it and requested that I do "Dinasour" by Hank Williams Jr. I told him I didn't know it, but I could do "Family Tradition". He really got into it. lol... He was a really cool guy. But as cool as he was, didn't turn me into a Bama fan. Just as I wouldnt've hated Bama if he woulda been a jerk.

As for my guess.....Don't have a guess for something I don't care about. sorry.
