A documentary that will startle America and provide solutions is ready for a one-night showing next month.
Geoff Rogers of Ships of Tarshish and the U.S. Institute Against Human Trafficking reports that trafficking of women, girls, and boys occurs even in small town America, so it is a much bigger problem than people realize.
"It is an absolute fact that sex trafficking is occurring literally in every community across the entire United States, so it is not discriminatory when it comes to race or gender or socio-economic class for small towns vs large cities, etcetera," he tells OneNewsNow. "Truly we're seeing it everywhere in the entire country."
Rogers explains that more than a million involved in the trade are children, girls, and boys, and the reason is because there is a demand.
Rogers' organization has produced Blind Eyes Opened, a startling documentary featuring people who have been rescued from trafficking through Christ. It will be shown one night only, January 23rd, at over 800 selecy theatres throughout the country.
