At time contradictory information and news stories are seen about the upcoming mid-term elections.  Historically the election would favor the Democrats and most indications are that the Democrats will take the House again and some now it's said that some Senate races are even in doubt.

Contrary to that are the absolute huge crowds that line up to see President Trump at his political stumps for various Republican candidates.  The media and Democrats would have you think that Trump is so unpopular yet the sheer number of people that are coming to the speeches would tend to indicate otherwise.

It could be that Democrats achieve a major victory come to the mid-terms but if that is the case then, most likely, the stock market will adversely react to the news that Democrats are back in power because their agenda is not to do anything other than reverse Trump's achievements including reversing the tax cuts to people and corporations that many feels are partially responsible for the pay bonuses that many employees saw and the growth and hiring that many companies are exhibiting and if those are reversed then Wall Street may believe that the economy will suffer account of it.

One thing you can be sure of and that is if Democrats win and the Stock market reacts adversely then Democrats will blame it on Trump and not accept that it's Wall Street reacting to their mid-term victories.  The fact that Democrats may win, to me, indicates that the American public is fickle and is willing to gamble on the economy.  Democrats have made no secret that they want to reverse many of the things Trump has done but have remained quiet on other things such as impeachment or Kavanaugh and President Trump in fear that they might ignite a fire under many Republicans or voters that otherwise may stay home for the mid-terms.

Democrats have surely ignited a fire under their base and no doubt they will achieve numbers voting that otherwise, they may not have achieved.  The question is if Republicans will be able to get their base energized to vote.  The Media is doing all it can to dampen expectations and create a situation whereby Republicans stay at home feeling that the outcome is already decided.

I believe that if the Democrats do win, which it looks very likely they will, then the economy will suffer greatly because of it and Washington will surely see legislative stagnation to the degree we haven't seen before.

Haven't you heard Kraven, Obama says "The economic recovery STARTED because of HIM (Obama ... as he said his name so many times in his most recent Arizona speech).  Obama took credit for the last two years of the booming economy, Trump (Just a Tin Horn Dictator as Obama referred to him)  just happened to come along and ride the coattails of Obama's GREAT Accomplishments, or so Obama alluded to that kickstarted the Economy into action.  After all, it was HIM (Obama) who inherited the most horrible economy compliments of that Republican ... George Bush.

Everybody knows the economic recovery started with me, if
anyone can claim it why not me--

I'll admit G. Bush was all hat, small boots and did nothing except
the wrong moves for eight years but he was a helluva lot better
than the prissy obozo even if he had the time heldadog would've
had, but didn't by the grace of God--
